tried the game at a shop...sure looks amazing and detailed,BUT it has some slowdowns (and i'm NOT talking about BTime)..got lost with the controls a bit (NO TUTORIALS?!)..
And...SMALL SUBTITLES!!!!..i had to go into JAPANESE MODE -.- ...to read them..hopefully there's a FIX / PATCH for this..else...everybody will turn into JAPANESE
Also,they killed the famous "Comic Book" cutscenes from MP1 n 2..just to put short,quick popping texts over the scenario..sure,looks interesting and those fading lines gives them the FXs a nice touch..R*,last thing you also killed is the dub for spanish users..MP1 n 2 were dubbed into spanish,yet you come in and kick us in the face with english audio...not that we care much,but SUBS are TINY

Basically the game uses SDAT encryption for some main assets (nothing new in the PS3 world for some older games), but since it's been compiled with 4.0.0 SDK, it uses a new algorithm for the 4.0.0 SDK SDAT files, which one can only figured out by reversing 4.0.0+ VSH which is impossible without keys.
Now it's obvious TB has keys, but then they need to reverse the SDAT algo, make a decrypter, and reencrypt with 3.X algo. So much work to do for for now, only 2 games that I doubt they'll waste their time or even has the knowledge for this. It's likely Sony isn't silly and will use SDAT in most if not all their games now to screw/slow down a lot TB.
A game that uses the same formula from the other max payne games only have better graphics, and still have that "spark" , i mean the bullet time still works.
Theres no other game like this, story wise... the narrative.

Mhh this sounds very bad. I'm sure that sony will use this in all upcoming games, if it is a working protection against TB. Hopefully the TB guys will find a solution against it.

Yep, shooting mechanics are so satisfying. Even beat the game in NY Minute hardcore, where is not allowed to die and there are no checkpoints (you die - the game starts from beginning). Good times.
