Entered earlier but I restarted the PC because of an installation I was running in the background, now I can't seem to get in at all, since the servers are in maint.

Time for Torchlight 2, I guess.

Luckily I haven't been forced into any queues yet, though this online restriction annoy the hell out of me last night -- seeing as how my net dropped for over five hours (could have been longer, but I went to bed by then) and wasn't able to play. So yeah... I guess I'm the 1% Rolling Eyes

The guest pass was available for The Americas region, not Europe. When I'm logging in with the game set on EU servers, it tells me Diablo 3 isn't associated with the account.

How do I say this ....

A few days ago, I purchased Diablo 3 CE for 109 Euro
Must say that the game is fantastic, if you can play

Only yesterday I got it going after 24 hours of pure frustration
The game is the hardest I've played in my life, why?
Let me explain why :

1. Put the disc in the reader.....done

2. Install ... right, woho I'm so excited that I will soon play Diablo 3 after 12 years

3. update game files .. after 20 min ...update game files

I think to myself is this normal? should wait a little? ok I'll wait tralalala ...
after 1 hour, nothing happens ..

Ok I try again and? the same thing cant install.. going on Blizzard forum just to read about many problems ....ok i found the solution

Lets play some Diablo Smile

4. installing yesss baby!! but after 40 minutes i am stuck
Wait, wait yes its done, after 2 hours

5. Press the play button, and..... nothing happens, now I'm beginning to think a little what I bought

6. Ok from the beginning again, only this time, I see the update tools and well nothing happens ..

My face starts to look a little red now .. but I say to myself that there must be a dream and I'm asleep and must wake up

7. Installing again and ....Your hard disk does not Have enough space .. wait WHAT!!
I have 850gb free for God's sake
Now I'm mad as hell

8. Ok i am doing again and Again!!! ..update game files, tools and gray buttons and can not even install Diablo 3 WTF Edition from Fubar Blizzard

Finally!!!!!! I can play

9. Login, I am typing my username and password, and error 37 and error 3007 and error after error, why not call the game Diablo 3: Resurrection of Error ??

After a few hours, I can play, I thought but I was wrong
Stutter is incredibly annoying

In the middle of the game, I was disconnectet from server WHAT!! I got kicked from my game that I bought? what is this, Harry Potter magical tricks?

Ok... fight whit the boss and disc ..... F.. U. I. G AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next step .. will stop the disc in the oven and see what happens maybe it will work better what do you think??

So all in all I've been playing 5 hours in total
Thank you Blizzard for a great game that I craved for 12 years
But I must say that the box is nice but I dare not open it because I'm afraid that error will pop out to bite me in the ass

Sorry for my English it's not my native language...

Well I got kicked off the amerikan server about 15 mins ago. I tried to get on to the european server it let me on but I had to start a new game must be the difference between owning the game and a guest pass which shits me how embarassing is that? Blizzard gives away these things in exchange for their overpriced exercise in mass control, encouraging customers to give them to friends as 'gifts' but they aren't gifts they are just more duplicitous corporate marketing cause they restricts access of these 'gifts'.

Not to mention not being able to play a singleplayer game you've paid for cause its friday nite/sat morning in Seppoland & some trainee engineer is out the back getting off his face instead minding the shop.

They got pretty strong consumer rights laws where I live laws that haven't been updated since corps got fancy with IP so I'll be able to take it back if I want since the product isn't performing as it should, but I'm betting most peeps won't do that - they will bend over and spread em for blizzard. My own kids will prolly prohibit me from standing up to these dead set thieves.

And that is exactly the attitude I'm talkin about. No wonder game publishers get away with treating customers like shit, anyone objects to the one sided nature of the customer manufacturer relationship is dismissed as a lunatic cause its too hard for simple minded fucks to comprehend how powerless they have allowed themselves to become. it is much easier to dismiss legitimate issues with the old 'he's crazy' 'she's uncool' 'That's not how it works'. Idiot!

1... Do you have to have SP1 ? I have Win7 64b, no SP.

2... If you buy the game on DVD, do you have to have the DVD in the DVD Drive ?

1. I don't know really know. I'm using W7 x64 SP1.

2. You don't need to use it at all. Just register you key on battlenet and download the client.

Accidentaly started playing on American servers, so when I switched to european servers, I noticed my character didn't follow. Any way to transfer my shemonk?

Just finished it myself; 23hrs 17m, lv33, loved (almost) every second of it. Molten and Suicide enemies towards the end caused me no end of rage (... fucking cheap bastards to throw against melee characters) and here's my char;

For me normal is basically like playing on God mode..You cant die and you are incredibly overpowered in any party setting (1-4 ppl)...Just entered Act III on Nightmare and mobs are definitely more fun to fight now...fuuu arcane enchant waller/jailers in tight areas Laughing

Probably a noob question, but it seems the latency is the same in american and european servers for me, so is there a downside to playing on american servers?

I kinda like my shemonk, she's lvl 10. Don't want to abandon her. Razz

Meh, don't care about the auction house. I'm treating this as a single player game, as if there's no access to other peoples loot.

Not sure how long it took me to lvl 10, is there somewhere ingame I can check?
