Well don't know fully what the patch changed, but loading times are a bit better now. Smile

Could be an issue on your side? Dunno but here loading times are fast, usually 4-5 seconds. You have it on Steam?

Nah don't think so. Haven't installed it on SSD but before the patch JB posted the loading times were sometimes long.
You especially noticed it when you load a game...transition between areas was not the issue.

But now all is good. Smile

Just ran into an amusing bug. I was killed by a wildling, but it showed a cinematic execution of my guy killing him. Then "game over".

That's shockingly bad development.

To each their own. I consider myself pretty tolerant in regards to RPG´s, but i couldn´t bare with the game for more than a couple of hours, not touching it again.

As much as anyone can defend the story, the dialogues make it impossible for me to enjoy the journey to see how it ends.

From what i´ve read, the French translation of the series is itself a mess, so maybe the dev´s, not having read the books as intended by the author, were sorely missing the necessary knowledge to write a better script.

So that's what they ripped, didn't know that.
(Thought it was just very well compressed via 7-zip as usual.)

Updated files, doesn't touch the exe so it should still be compatible with other releases.

I wish I had better file hosts to utilize but without paying or similar means my choices are rather limited at the moment with so many of the previous large file hosts still in a bit of disorder, Mediafire is also usually OK but they cap upload speed for some reason so I rely on other sites primarily.
(This here is very quick with uploads and download speeds are normally great but there are certain periods under the day when things slow down dramatically from what I've noticed.)

EDIT: Hmm that one could work.

Any tweaks to be done for this, JB?

I noticed that the UI is kind of a mess, at least on my resolution. So far the game seems pretty solid, with problems being born because of a not so good port. It's mainly the UI that annoys me... and maybe how extreme is the OTS camera. Any way to change the camera? Or maybe the FoV?

It's UE3 (With some customization.) so while there are some ini files to adjust many elements are hardcoded and would require external tools from what I know.

The game's not all that bad, to be honest. It doesn't look THAT much worse than your typical UE3 game and the writing - while a bit too naive and too generous with pathos for the Song of Ice and Fire at times - is not really worse than in many other RPG titles on the market. It certainly doesn't deserve a 4/10, that much I can tell just after 30 minutes with it.

I don't have that problem with the gamepad. Very Happy

Actually works well with it, tbh.
