your logic can be applied to every game and even every form of entertainment. there is no point in playing any game, or watching any movie, except to be entertained. for many people collecting pointless loot is entertaining, for you it's not, so go play something else.

A friend of me got diablo down 2 hours ago. She played all night.
That's fast though and seems utterly boring to rush like that.
I think I am getting close to end of Act 1 now and I played a solid 5 hours already.
I explore every house/cave/unexplored bit on the map, I like it this way. (playing alone)

Not gonna happen, this is 100% an mmo. Dat latency in singleplayer.
Could be awhile before a decent server emulator pops up, but I'm sure it will.
I played until about level 9.. this is nice but it's not going to replace D2 anytime soon.

to get skidrow release follow these steps. go to a local store and steal a copy of diablo3. when cops come after you start running and jacking off while repeatedly screaming "SKIDROW RELEASE"

Stuttering ... and no, it's not as bad as it was in the beta. When the game first loaded it hitched like fucking CRAZY whenever I hit a mob, but after a couple of minutes it cleared up and now doesn't stutter and hitch 99.9% of the time  They definitely sorted it out =)

Works just fine here, mate =) Though I'm using my Amalur settings from ixi; dropped shader.fx, d3d9.dll and injFX_Shaders into the same folder as DiabloIII.exe and it works like a charm. 4 hours last night, no issues whatsoever.

damn wasnt able to pick up my copy during lunch. 3 hours left until I can pick it up and finally play it past the skelly king.

Well guess I'll decide once Torchlight 2 comes out whether to get that or this. Not really a hardcore guy. I played through Diablo 2 about 4 or 5 times. I was expecting at least a 30 hour campaign.
Though do each classes have a couple of unique plots to them or are they all the same?

bought the C.E of the game,but about the extras...i only have 5 papers..2 for WoW invitations (or free TEMPORAL play thing),2 DIABLO 3 invitations ...and the 2 Keys for the DIABLO 2+LOR games from the pendrive (in english for the spanish version..FFFFFFFFUUUUUUU!..good thing i keep my spanish one =D)
Where are the Battle.net avatars,WoW pet and the other one???..

And man that act 2 is just breathtaking. Hype or not, personally it's the best game ever (for me) and beats diablo2 by miles.

449kr = £47. Every other PC game in the store was 299-399kr. Sorry Sin mate, I don't know what your country is like -- but 449 is NOT the normal going rate for PC titles. In the UK they're between £24.99 and £27.99, Diablo 3 is £35.

I believe they are linked to the serial key. Once you use the key for D3, they are added to the account.
