Would it be really that hard to enulate a D3 server though ? I mean there are (or was) cracked servers for WoW so i don`t see why it couldn`t happen with D3. Granted i don`t know much about servers emulation so it`s probably easier said than done.

it should be many times easier to emulate D3 server, i doubt a lot of stuff in D3 is server side, certainly not as much as with WoW

I'm also of the opinion that it will/would be significantly easier to emulate D3 than WoW. Yes, a lot of D3 is server side .. but what IS server side isn't as complex as the average MMO. So like I said earlier in the thread; I think emulating D3 to a playable state should be a lot faster and easier than it was for WoW.
I still think it's going to take months and months before anything remotely playable shows up though. You only have to look at mooege to see that -- it's been out for months and isn't even considered playable :\

i dont think its that much different from a MMO.
Mob placement, mob AI, Item drops, quest tracking, character tracking/saving.
What else is there ?

Fucking g2play aswell. Got a mail saying they have a problem in their system and i will get the key in 5 hours or so. I sent a direct mail cancelling my preorder. If they start cocking i can contact paypal to fix this right?

Shit take a while to install.....It`s been like 5 minutes and im still at 1% ....
Edit : OK it seems to pick up now and just jumped to 5% but now it seems to be stuck there like it was for minutes at 1%. At this rate it will take hours....
