Completed , due to some reason I didn't find the game to be good something which i was expecting from Rockstar , except for Chapter 9 there were hardly any WOW moments.

Now have nothing to play guess will play Spec Ops The line and will wait for Ghost Recon

Yes I say good time but there was always something missing in the game , I'd say this since its a rockstar game and we expect a lot from them.

Would rate it 8/10 the story telling is fantastic even beats UC series.

Even tho I love the game, I think there is too less freedom. There should be a bit more exploration... I mean levels, where You are not forced to run after someone

nothing special about this imho.. was expecting more... but maybe its just because they just aim at trying to remake max payne...it was original for its time back then...but not nowadays. Better to wait for GTA V then and hope this doesnt disappoint. I think Rockstar should concentrate on freeroam games...

Have watched 30 mins gameplay in youtube and doesn't look anything special when comes to gameplay imo. Even the game do not feel like Max Payne at all.
Don't know why were all these ''OMG great game'' comments first day when the game was leaked. Probably people were blown away by the graphics and animations? Yeah, sure they are ace, but other than that it's not a game that i would buy day 1 like i did with RDR. Very Happy

It's Max Payne, a straight shooter. What would you do with freedom? Just because it's Rockstar doesn't mean every game they produce should be like GTA or RDR.

not that type of freedom. Just more free time to walk explore locations.
Still. That't just me being nitpicky

Max Payne 2 had some great linear exploration passages (the hospital at the beginning, Mona's hideout, the police station, the dream sequences,....) as had Alan Wake. Doesn't Max Payne 3 have any of those?

YEs it has those... but some morons here like to run OR listen to NPCS TOo MUCH Laughing you can explore environments there is nothing that forces you to go forward or a time limit ...just ignore those that SCREAM "MAX WE NEED TO MOVE" they are this new XX century screaming game triggers ... if you don't explore you don't get CLUES or GOLDEN PARTS FOR GOLDEN GUNS !!!!... so if some one will say there is no exploration they are..... lol wut

Mad why ? they showed Maxes inner mind problems , i missed those in this game it would show his guilt and how he defeated it ...not by "oh well i must SOBER THE FUCK UP anD go TOTAL BEARD CORE to DEAL WITH MY PROBLEMS " wtf was that...

and to people that say 'its nothing special' ... did Uncharted 3 spoiled you too much geez

I think you can't really compare it to Uncharted 3, it feels different IMO. Uncharted 3 is less action oriented, and more like a Tomb Raider game, while Max Payne isn't anything like Tomb Raider (obviously...).

Nonetheless, both games are great games. I can't speak about MP3 yet since I didn't finish it, but some parts of U3 felt rushed though, no wonder when Sony imposed Naughty Dog a date, they even admitted they were under pressure.

Specially the story is more interesting in MP3 than U3, which is barely existing and really confusing.

Reached chapter 7. I must say I'm enjoying the game, tho being a huge fan of the first two on pc I have to admit this is the first time since I got my x360 that I really miss mouse & kb. The pinpoint precision given by bullet time + mouse aiming just can't be replicated here.

Also, why the fuck does the game switch weapons after every cutscene... annoying as hell. And final complaint: all the double-vision / flashes / color shifting / crossfading in the cutscenes give me a headache.

Apart from those small details, the game is great. Faith in R* partially restored Very Happy

Gamewas great, finished it yesterday. great straight action game with great story, great pacing and a satisfzing ending. only thing i missed were the dream sequences, i really liked those in the old games, added to the mood imo. Graphics and animations are amazing and the action is top notch. Almost feels like a combination of the old max payne games and die hard 3. This would have been the pwrfect story for die hard 4. Darker and mcclane even more fucked up thadn in die hard 3.

why he takes a gun in every cut scene dunno guess only his GUN UNDERSTANDS HIM... but those flashes where they artistic form of Maxes HANGOVER Laughing when he is sober Smile and when Max goes BEARDCORE you have none of that crappy flashes ... and well they clever tool to hide BINK to GAME transition fails in those sections...
