Sounds like someone needed to stack MF% gear. Cool Face

In both TQ and D2 there were mods that you could alter the drop rates to your liking - which is completely fine when you're playing single player imo. Those high-end runes for example were fucking impossible to get. And now we can't do that thanks to Blizzard being a bunch of dicks.

Anyone enjoy Nox back in the day? That was probably the most enjoyable Diablo clone I ever played. But I'm not into repeatedly running through the games for better loot. One playthrough is my thing.

Hell yeah I did! It was an amazing game, probably still is though I've not gone back to it for fear of reality possibly not living up to the fuzzy feelings Very Happy I liked how the protagonist actually called out the names of the runes when spellcasting (though machines are too quick these days and the rune-calling is sped up to ludicrous, and funny, levels so it sounds like gibberish Very Happy)

@inz

RMAH Sad I don't care what Blizztrolls say, the RMAH is the singular reason why it's online-only and has a strict no mods policy. Blizzard could just as easily use the same open/closed BNet policy, but they choose not to because they want to force people into using RMAH.

... and yes, modding TQ is glorious Very Happy I'm a huge fan of the Lilith Masteries addon, as well as the TQDefiler mod, allowing for many game-improving changes.

You can easily not use RMAH why are they forcing anyone?

They're not directly forcing anyone to use the RMAH, but they prohibit any action, that would, for whatever reason, eliminate your right to use RMAH.

So i feel like sabin here. That blizzard makes sure that you can always start using it, that you will always stay a potential RMAH user, even at the cost of, imo, far more valuable features.

So, if I live in the US, CST, when can I expect to play the game (what hour of the night)?

So, from what I understand, this game will be close to uncrackable because there will be no offline play (closed b.net) ?

It's going to need a server emulator, just like private WoW servers.

Nice, I just slept 17 hours. Gonna sleep another 12 tonight, and I should be good to stay up all night.

However, if I stay up all night, and their servers fuck up.......bless the people I work with on Tuesday.

Well, it will take some time to emulate all these server functions properly. Besides, even the final 'cracked' version will probably be of lower quality than legit game running on Blizzard's servers.

I thought this was being released simultaneously all over the world? One instant release for all timezones.

That's not the case? Some countries actually get it earlier in "real time?"
