One small thing that annoys me a bit , when cutscene starts..he automatically switch to gun and he needs to hold it during a cutscene  I guess he loves them guns..after that shootout usually starts and I need to swtich weapons again to dual or secondary weapon. I even died couple of times cause of that..

Damn you guys are driving me nuts with all the "it's amazing" comments, can't play till tomorrow since I'm not home... can't wait!
In the meantime: do you need both dvds for single player campaign?

Or 6 , I can't remember ..FSD swap discs really fast..
Really wierd problem , I use Xbox backup creator for every game..never had a problem , on my external I just created Max Payne 3 folder and inside Disc 1 and Disc 2 folders. Worked with ME3 , Castlevania , FFXII..and now this one. Maybe something went wrong with that update you did few days ago , did you tried clean install ? Or just rollback to software versions that worked properly.

I see people on 360iso has the same problem... damnit, making a GOD container worked great with witcher 2. Trying i different structure now.
MP3/disk 1
MP3/disk 2
now it should automatically boot the 2nd disc from FSD2.2...

It has to be GameFolder/Disc1 & Disc2
Try to keep no spaces in it.

Does FSD recognize both " disc " and " disk " ?
EDIT: I have spaces , and it works..

still in chapter 3, only play 80 minutes or so, gonna play more tonight if the wife and the baby let me in peace.

Just beat it. Played on normal, free aim, died lots.
I wasn't paying to attention to how long but if I had to estimate
It was around 12-14 hours

game is pretty bad so far, lots of dying, lots of unnecessary and illogical bullshit.
max payne 3 is too much about taking cover so you wont die the billionth time and too little about jumping in guns blazing.

I updated on the disc, longest 5 mins of my life, didn't know what was gonna happen .... but I am now on 3.0 and Max Payne works and all the copied games on discs still work , thank god

It doesnt matter whether its disc or disk or whatever there has to be folder structure tree nothing else.
I'm not really enjoying the game , story telling is great but not sure why i'm saving the girl i know he is bodyguard but it does not have any compassion , its not RDR where it was so much fun to play.

Does this game require that you have much knowledge of the previous two games? I haven't played them in years, all I remember is that Mona Sax was awesome.

my folder didn't have any spaces it was Max3\disc1 and it worked .. didn't have any popout neither only a instant swap .. but then again i have disabled sign notice in the dash
