You don't see me going into TL2/POE/Grim dawn thread arguing for pages how shit those games are. I'm in the d3 thread and if i feel like it i can comment on those games.
People who appreciate the other games can do so without being bothered by "haters" in their own thread.
This is a discussion board, it's meant for people to discuss the games however they like. If someone dislikes some aspects of a game, where other than that specific game thread is suited? Perhaps post in some other games thread as this thread is obviously only meant for praise? Give it a rest. I'll repeat myself if you didn't get it: This is a discussion board where people can discuss what they like and what they don't like on whatever subject the thread contains.
TQ now lacks that "oomph" feel that I had when I played Diablo 3 beta. Titan Quest is a solid game but I'll take D3 over TQ any day.
Good for you? Still doesn't change the fact that I, me, personally, believe that TQ is better than D3... and D2... and D1. That's my opinion based on my experiences and my tastes I'm going to play the shit out of D3 and when Grim Dawn comes out I'll play the shit out of that too ^_^

I would never presume to speak for the whole world, so when talking about subjective matters such as entertainment and media... when I post it's generally my own opinion So while you say I didn't specifically state "in my opinion" -- tolanri's reply was every bit as firm, indicating - if spoken as fact - that I'm wrong and that my tastes are wrong, that it's cast-iron fact that Game X is better than Game Y for everybody. Of course he didn't mean that, so I didn't take it as such
Heh. Someone posted the Diablo 3 installer on Usenet. A for effort but rather pointless.
if it's the full install it's not necessarily pointless. It was ridiculous how long the beta took to download for me from battle.net. Several hours. If I bought the game and could download it from an alternate source, fuck yeah I would do it.
If the installer is just some sort of small pre-installer that then downloads the rest from battle.net servers....well, yeah, that's pointless
Definitely looking forward to the final release. I beat the beta like 7 or 8 times, and I NEVER play a game more than once, so that's saying a lot. The only problem I've had is deciding what character to play first

.... actually, that's a fair point. I've only played a tiny taste of the full game, so it's not really fair to say one - full - game is automatically better than the short demo of another. I'll play the whole thing, then decide

If it is I would much appreciate if someone gave me a starter edition. It's been a while since I played Diablo and never have been such a big fan of H&S genre. But it's worth to give D3 a try, but I definitely wont buy it without some "demo" and I missed the open beta.

If it explodes as you think it will, I see many people complaining that the game won't start or it is so buggy they want a crack fix/patch NOW. Just like any other big game release that's what this thread will turn into....WHINERS.
