Did so for several. DA:O+Addon (Ultimate), NewVegas Ultimate Edition (thx again Sabin  ), Borderlands, Skyrim, L4D2, Portal2, Dawn of War 2 + all Addons and many more.
If the games are good I'll thank them with a purchase afterwards.
Some of them were on sale, some were not (like F:NV, DA:O Ultimate and Skyrim for example. Full pricing)

I usually finish the  game, and then if it's good I buy it on sale later on (sadly I can't afford the full price :S). It's the only way that I have to support the devs  |
