haha, come on, no one would be so stupid as to create an animated short story that summarizes the main plot of the game that is yet to come out.
well maybe bioware would be up for that, but still! that's crazy!


it's just a short story of a battle long long long ago to introduce is a bit to the angels we'll be meeting in d3 probably, and to make it more clear that angels have been fighting demons and it wasn't always just the player character Smile

as a newly diablo lore nerd the video takes place before sanctuary was even created long before the events of D1. Loved the video though it was abit short, was hoping for atleast 30 mins.
Also from the video you can hind guess who the last boss will be Wink

I envy all you bastards Crying or Very sad I won't get the game until late on May 15th, if not the next day, since my mum has to go pick it up from the store and that can only be done ON release day >_< If I'm lucky, she'll have time to get to the store after work and then text me the key, but I'm never lucky... so it will be the next day I reckon. Bah!

Also would be cool to co-op with some of the members here, maybe we can create a hump group and nail some demons Cool Face

Same here mate. Only I chose to get it delivered to me which means I'll get it on the 16th (at best). However I just found out I will be near the shop I ordered it from on the 15th and now I'm trying to find out if I can pick it up myself.

Same Sabin. I ordered the CE from Best Buy with some gift certs I had so only a few bucks outta my pocket. I called and asked about when mine would arrive since I had ordered expedited delivery and the lady came up with a sensible answer, but ultimately, wasn't sure. She said it depended on whether or not the publisher would allow early delivery to make actual release dates or if they would be restricted to delivering them the day of release date.

I'm taking the 16-18th off to play this though so all is good I hope Very Happy.

since there was already some vids of CE unboxing i assume that 'making of' and OST should be flying around somewhere? while making of according to bashiok is very spoiler it would be nice to get a hands on at least the OST

Planning on soloing it once first on normal for the story but after that it would be fun to try som co-op.
Can you alternate between co-op and singleplayer, like if you finish act1 with co-op can you continue on to act 2 and play a few hours of single? I guess you can, since the enemies will dynamically get more HP the more players in a group...

You can solo and coop at will. Coop worked prety well from what i tried in the beta, but public games suck. People just running forward blindly, no communication etc. Best to play with ppl you know. Also 4 player games kind of suck because you get a lot of what happened in D2, too much chaos, spell effects, explosions etc (lol @ ppl who want 8 player games back).. hard to tell whats going on. 2 or 3 players is ideal for me.
