I have played some D2 way, way back, but not a lot. Just not my type of game.

Haha well, the main reason is called gamepad . I really dislike playing shooters/action games without the trusty mouse and keyboard, I just can't enjoy them properly with a controller no matter how hard I try  .
(And the only game that I really envy from the 360 owners is - the irony- Red Dead Redemption ). So double fuuu R*!  |

I know that I'm going to be spanked hard for this**...but I don't like fighting games (used to play them a lot with friends when I was younger but now somehow they don't attract me anymore, none of them..not even MK  )

As for sports games, we are pretty well covered on PC with all the various FIFAs/NBA 2Ks, same thing for driving games/sims

I'll see how to plays after it takes me 2 days to install off of steam  then i'll buy the superior console version

The 16 GB recommended RAM could mean that the game runs in a native 64bit environment.The last bigger PC title I remember using more than 4 gb was Crysis 1/Warhead .
(Yes I know you can tweak some games to use more than 4gb like Fallout: NV or Skyrim but that's no native support!)

Apart from 30 FPS lock, which was removed by modders, LA Noire was optimized pretty fucking well.
