Too bad we won't get Tim Curry even if GK is made.

To me that's a good thing. Especially in GK3 his overacting was hardly bearable. I like Curry, including when doing VO, but GK3... plain awful.

It was released for the backers since yesterday and will be released today on Steam and GOG. Played the first chapter so far, general impression is that the game's story is intriguing. The technical aspects of the game are poor though - the models and animations are bad, the interface is not comfortable. I like the music, but nothing memorable like Gabriel Knight theme, or Gray Matter music. Perhaps the first chapter is introductory, but the puzzles are simple. There is a potentially interesting game mechanic of deducing conclusions about people/items by known facts or observations...reminded me of Sherlock Holmes' technique. However, so far it was absurdly simple or speculative.

I hope the story will continue to evolve and stay interesting, as it seems the main strength of the game.

RPS really didn't like this game Laughing

Quote:
Moebius is an utter disaster of a game. An entirely unlikeable or vacuous cast, a contempt for women like I’ve never seen, and indeed almost equal contempt for men, gibberish puzzles, ghastly animation, flawed conceits, the stupidest plot idea I can remember, and the whole thing scored with lift music. It’s as if the moustache puzzle from Gabriel Knight 3 got an agent, and a starring role as an entire game.

Frankly, got to third chapter so far and I sure feel it gets worse. Apparently, the worst is still ahead.
