As I thought, no crack was neccessary and the cd is not needed after install. Smile

It's on the newsgroups guys. I'm glad this "flightsim" has been released! Very Happy Wink - it's a good one, but not for the casual gamer - very hardcore.

I like to fly FS2004 wth all the nice addons, like worldwide mesh scenery, payware planes like level-d 767-300ER, thats very realistic, with using it like real. Having all the lastest navdata and sid/stars procedure..flying "by the book" ;D

Sending a PM where to get it is no ban matter, but asking on the public board to send a pm yes.

About the game,.. i'm not really into flight sim and when I saw the screenshot I though "look like shit" but if you say it's really complex that's great. I just want to know what this game have more than the other flight sim out there... they can't add more control than a real jet and I though lots of other games like MS fligh sim had them all lol

I wonder how much of the original Falcon 4.0 manual still applys. I hope a lot because I still have it and its a complicated game. The manual is also complicated and long as hell. Like 500 pages or something insane like that. Probably the biggest manual for any computer game ever.

MS flight sim, if I'm not wrong, doesn't include Fighter planes. And there is a huge diffreance between a Passanger Jet and a Fighter Jet, BIG DIFF. Falcon 4.0 has the best aerodynamic physics, real aircraft controls to every detail in a real F16 plane, including interactive MFD's, SMS and IDI. To play Falcon and understand the game, you MUST read the manual, otherwise you won't understand shit. Luckily, my bro was an F16 pilot, so he kinda explained what's going on.There isn't a more realistic game then this.

You need to check your controls which buttons control the rudder steering to be able to steer on the runway.
I can't tell you which buttons is assigned since I use my cougar hotas with rudder pedals.

to correct there is actually an other game:

LOCK ON : MODERN AIR COMBAT

expansion:
LOCK ON : FLAMING CLiFFS protected by starforce

let me differenciate a little between lomac and f4

F4
---

-- if you want to be immersed in a realistic campaign that has been un-beaten till now in complexity..then f4 is for u.

-- if u don't care about gfx

-- if you wanna press every button and go through half an hr of checks before you start taxiing.

-- if u don't mind the feeling on riding on rails....some ppl say that this is realistic because of flybywire....

lomac + lo:fc (my sim)
---------------

-- the real feel of flying a modern jet.
-- best ever Flight models ever.
-- you can feel the plane on a the stick
-- the new AFM (advanced flight model) is the latest innovation by developer eagle dynamics. it is the first use of AFM in anything ever. AFM is just like ragdoll or havok physics in fps shooters...i.e., very responsive and realistic.
-- the most wonderful gfx ever
-- WARNING::: U NEED A KICK ASS system.

screens:: (posted by some guy at forums)

definately the most immersive sim.

I would also like to mention that IDF and the USAF are using Falcon 4.0 for training new pilots. If the IDF, which is the best airforce in the world, thinks that the game reaches such realism as real life, then you can surely understand how good Falcon 4.0 is. I've played LOMAC too, and I like the game a lot but IMO, it's far behind Falcon 4.0 in terms of gameplay and aero physics.

clevesa,

have you tried the new AFM of the su-25T aircraft.

NO SIMULATION matches the physics in that. That is realtime calculation of every maneuver and every move. launch a missile and you can feel the plane turning to one side due to the weight transfer.

ask anyone on the F4 forums also. The AFM in flaming cliffs is the most realistic ever. I don't disagree, F4 is very good in terms of gameplay, dynamic campaign etc. But in terms of flight model, everyone knows the flanker series and lomac are the best.
