You can tell this is a derpy COD sniper level type game with how the music works

Protip.. turn the bloody music off..

Hey there are people after us.. so LETS TURN THE MUSIC UP LOUD TO MAKE IT DRAMATIC .. nevermind the footsteps or the voices etc..

Oh and just so we know we are not in danger anymore.. lets turn the music right down for us

:fail:

The rest of the audio is terrible as well. It's impossible to tell how close an enemy is, because their voice has the same volume no matter the distance.

If you're not having fun in this game then I pity you and your mind prison.

It's as close to a real game old school + new shit as it can get. Pretty refreshing stuff.
Looks good, controls good. Plus it's fun as hell shooting nazis in the balls.
I'll enjoy it while others bitch about it doesn't support x60 FSAA

This post isn't aiming at anyone.

The game sure is flawed, my biggest issue with the game is the linearity of it all but its still fun in my opinion. The game looks good, works very well and shooting is satisfying. Also, multiplayer is actually more fun than I think it would be.

Had a cool moment just now - missed a shot, but the bullet managed to hit the grenade belt of the man behind him - group of three exploded!

There's a man who gets me, got plans this saturday night?

The game isn't all that linear, levels/maps are pretty big (like the plaza) But exploration is only useful for gold bars

I think you'll find 90% of all pirated titles lack the online component. There are rare exceptions, but the emphasis is on rare, so if you want MP; buy it Wink

I know, but they usually lack the internet servers stuff, not LAN (and I assume this game has LAN). Oh well, I didn't play it enough yet to make a proper opinion. Still getting annoyed buy those damn germans. Very Happy

It's actually a pretty decent game if you can get it on the cheap. Coop works really and you really need to work together in many situations.

Realistic shooter? NO.
Campaign coop? YES.
Other modes coop? YES.
Enjoyable coop? YES.
Only a few maps other than the campaign to play coop on? YES.

If you want a realistic sniper sim, get ARMA II + ACE.

Who would ever want a god damm realistic Sniper simulation, seriously, you want to look at screen for 7 hours and wait for one moment ? Really ?

Sniping will never be realistic in games, never...

The first impression wasn't very good, but once you learn the controls and accept it's just a good old-school trial and error game back from Commandos or even PS1 classic Syphon Filter days, it's actually a very clever, tense and rewarding experience to sneak around the level, taking down one nazi after another with one of the coolest death cam's I've seen. There's also no map to show where the enemies are, which ruined Hitman games for me, so that's also a great plus. They're playing with music instead.

I also noticed that turning on ambient occlusion really adds to the atmosphere - without it the graphics look kind of bland, less shadows in the corners etc.

Also playing it with 360 controller, it's surprisingly enjoyable.

The only problem is the repetitive AI voice acting, but other than that, great stuff.

I really see no problem in you comparing this game with a heavy strategy game like Commandos (especially Commandos 1!). No sir, no problem at all... Wink

you say that, but when you have games like 'Street Cleaning Simulator' (by Excalibur) being sold, you wonder.. and with many bad console ports I often stare at the screen for 7 hours waiting for that one moment when the game will get good.. Sad

Heavy strategy game? Acording to Wiki: "Commandos is a stealth-oriented real-time tactics game series." So stealth, tactics, no similarities at all, right? Whatever you say.

And your condescending attitude is disgusting, btw.
