Since quicksaves don't overwrite eachother, my disk got full while playing and all my recent saves weren't actually performed, even though it said the game was saved.
Can anyone please upload some saved games for me that match my progress? I was in tacarigua, about 3-4 hours into the game I think, approaching the pirates and having cleared what I believe is everything up to that point. I know I haven't played much and could start again, but I don't have lots of spare time and I would hate doing the first hours all over again.
My copy finally arrived! People from my town are really stupid apparently, as they didn't know to point the guy from the mailing company to my street. He said he had been looking for about 2 days for me.
Anyway, I didn't get the Risen 2 Notebook the first time they sent me the other stuff so they sent me one a Risen Notebook (which is much cooler; the pages have this ragged look and the cover is made of indian buffalo leather) and a Risen bag.
Also, the concept art cards from the CE are really well done, as is their little box. Actually everything is really high quality, just like the stuff I received before. I'm still a bit sad that the CE wasn't really the CE, but it's cool like this too. At least I can use the pirated DLC on the legit copy! Off to the game now!

I'm not sure what i did here but it's 3-4 hours in.
You have to buy something from someone who isn't in the tavern to be able to open something in the tavern. Then you have to look at something to know where you have to dig

Great stuff!
Some pics maybe, when you've time.
(Beware, it's in German. No subs. But it shows everything. Oh and the CE that DK has is actually inside this treasure chest edition)
So, is anyone with the legit game using the pirated DLC? Do I need the Steamclient.dll too? It seems that's why the game doesn't start. But doesn't that bypass Steam?
Maybe someone who's good at hex editing can see what needs to be changed in the original exe in order to unlock the DLC packs.
Though, I think it would work if someone with the legit game and legit DLC would just upload the exe. Is there such a person here? Please?

where do you get that wooden leg for +1 toughness ?
Ticaragua, tower, pass behind tower, don't cross the bridge, follow the path, don't go inside the cave on the left, go a little further on the path to the bushes and look for the skeleton behind them.

I've found 5 of those roots, and 5 of those ash thingymabobs, I've literally walked around the map for hours looking for any other ingredients for the death potion to no avail. I uncovered the chest etc. - but still (probably?) missing one ingredient. The damn guardian only says "Good luck" in the conversation options. Annoying ass fucking fuck hidden miniature piece of ash shit.
OK, cant find this info anywhere. Once I left Ticaragua, can I go back there? And if "Yes", I have a question about the "Clothes for Largo" quest.
I got his shirt already and would need to learn Pickpocket skill to get the pearl.But...I remember having his bandana at one point, after fighting Riley for it in the sugar cane field. However, I dont know what I did with it, I might have accidentally lost it or sold to some merchant....Can you actually sell quest items to merchants? Anyway, I went back to every single merchant on Ticaragua, none of them have it in their inventory. Went back to Riley, nothing I can do.
Any ideas, anyone? I dont want to go back thru an early savegame since I am probably 4+ hours ahead now.I just hate having those unfinished quests in my logbook...
You can sell an item to a merchant, you can also buyback. It's likely you sold it to a merchant so you'll have to track down which one it is....Same thing happened to me!

Halp?
yes, you can go back once you become a capitan , and you can buy back every item you've ever sold to NPC's , just go and search for them (there aren't many merchants on Ticaragua anyway)
To be honest, I just specialise in one. As much as one type is more effective than an other... they both still do damage, so meh. Right now I'm switching between my Rapier, The Twins and also my new acquisition; the Double-Barrelled Shotgun
Signature/Avatar nuking: none (can be changed in your profile)
