like what? does it involve a controller?

like play football or suck his own dong - anything that doesn't involve monotonous finger movement

indeed, it was so boring I had elaborate team-botting setups so that the game could play itself while I was away from the pc... to have better gear when I returned to play d2 more and faster, equip more chars for more bots for more loot for moar... it's quite boring is the point I was trying to make.

My job is pretty much mouse+keyboard all day, yet I have no problems coming home and gaming on a mouse.

The only people who can rightfully complain about a hard day's work are lumberjacks, construction workers, and anyone who has to put with small children.

I just know I am going to be a Witch Doctor skilled to have as many toads on the screen at the same time as possible! Very Happy

or this http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/witch-doctor#WeYVkT!adg!ZcaZcY

Would also be cool to make a seperate char you reserved for a co-op completion and everyone just stacked auras/aoe spells together Razz

Tried all the classes to about lvl 8.

Have a hard fucking time deciding what to pick for main.
Barbarian was my pick before open beta. Monk was really nice since the changes.
Dont like the witch doc playstyle but when i checked the "talentbuilder" for him... Jesus he got some really funny spells...
calls forth a reckless suicidal zombie <- Anyone? =D

Guess ill stick with barb or monk. gonna play 3-4player coop the first time thro the game.

This fucking game...
All the classes are equally fun, leveled each one to a decent degree to try out the gamestyles,
and I cant fucking decide whom to main.
Whenever I get a new skill with a character I feel "THIS, THIS IS IT!", then 30 mins later I get a new skill with a different char and think "NO, THIS..." and it goes on and on.
The game´s design is a thing of beauty, and it has been 12 long years...

No no, you're doing it wrong! You're just a blind Blizzard fanboy! This game is so much simpler than D2, which required 12-key combos to be good. Meanwhile in D3 all you do is click! Hurpadurpa, you can kill me, but you can't kill the truth! Laughing

Anyone else going to try hardcore for their first play through (you need a regular lvl 10 char to unlock it though..)? It should be intense with potions on cool down, no insta tp, and no insta-quit. Game will be quite a brutal HC experience.

I'm stuck between monk and demon hunter... couldn't really figure out which one I liked more. Sad

I won't get the game at release tho since that will fuck up anything that I'm doing at school so I'll be getting this around mid-june perhaps. Surprised

Meanwhile, 99% of the people who claim that bullshit played either a frenzy barb or perhaps something like a sorceress, where you can breeze through Normal, Nightmare and the first two acts of Hell using just one skill Rolling Eyes

Honestly, I still love D2 to bits, but for once I can finally be the cunt that says "take off those rose-tinted glasses". Difference is that I'm right Laughing

my love and most played char in d2, was a summoner. not because was op, because of game style and his background.
i'm still sad that there isn't any class in d3 close to that.
and seeing how blizzard think, it is safe to bet that they will never allow a char with 25+ permanent controlled creature to exist.

Dont think we will either. Not that heart broken about it. I have no explicit demand for classes not to change. I think Witch Doctor is as close as we get to a summoner

There's cooldown on potions, no insta tp and no insta-quit on normal.

So does the game look better or worse with the lighting plugin or was it FXAA injector?

tried all plugins availible (darkd3.com and some others), but from my part i like it with a bit with the sharpness fillter only.
but still, after i play some days with it on, i got back to vanilla, and dint touch any other filters. i like it how the blizzard intended.

I have quite a bit of respect for the Bliz art department. I don't think some half-assed filter will change it for the better.

It depends, if you're tired of the one sided fighter ala barbarian but you still want a melee fighter, the monk is very cool and has a bit of a different fighting style. As I mostly play a melee fighter in rpgs I really love the monk and plan on rolling it as my main. I thought the barbarian was kinda boring, but from the videos and trailers the barbarian really has some wicked armor and weapons later on so I'll probably roll a barb at some point just so I can dress him up in some badass gear.

some good reads in this topic if you have the time to read it. even if jump from blue to blue posts.

http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/4662477428#1

a quote :

A Diablo 2 Barbarian will finish Normal difficulty with 20 different skills to choose from.

A Diablo 3 Barbarian will finish Normal difficulty (level 30, per Bashiok's confirmation) with 59 (FIFTY-NINE) different skills to choose from. He will continue gaining skills after level 30 all the way up to level 60 at the rate of about 2 new runes to try per level, for another 72 (SEVENTY-TWO) skills left to be earned by the end of Normal, or a total of 131 different skills to select by the time he's just about to start Inferno difficulty.

It doesn't seem to offer the same level of replayability, but at least it has other things to compensate.

Only comes with RU language, though it's region unlocked so adding EN might be possible later, just remember; RU launch isn't until 7th of June.
