i guess that's just how long the announcement is active or something. i don't think it's related to the downtime.

a steam guy on the sev2 steam boards said the problem is on steams end and is being worked on.

Finally played through the demo (Sniper Elite difficulty of course), what can I say, it's a very solid game in my opinion. The shooting mechanics feel satisfying, kb+m controls are basically perfect and the visuals are good.
Sure the AI isn't the brightest ever seen and it's definitely not a hard game but still, fun, which is what counts.
