My mate uses a Logitech Wingman RumblePad and hes had no problems with his. Both of us love it, and would recommend it to anyone, so I cant really help ya.

I also use a modified Xbox controller. The only problem I have with it is that the accellerator is stuck down on NFSU2.

I have a Logitech Dual Shock and it sucks big time. Just take a look at the .us forum of logitech and you see hunderds of posts from users with the same problems. Controllers loosing calibartion or drifting to the left side. I had three replacements for the pad and they all showed the same symptoms after a few weeks. I have given up on the logitech crap, as logitech never bothered to even address this matter.

I got 10$ ones that are mirror images of the PS 2 controller minus vibration. extremely good deal.

In case you're still looking... I've had the Saitek p880 for about 2 years and it still works great. It comes with good software too. I got mine at Future Shop for like $30 CAN. I play NHL 2005, GTA: SA, Prince of Persia: WW, and many others with it and never had any probs.

There are no PC gamepads (i have several of them) that are as good as the PS2 or N64/Gamecube gamepads, much more time/effort (and money) has been invested in creating these gamepads than the ones available for the PC.

Use a converter and buy a PS2 gamepad if you want the best.
