You know guys? I don't give a fuck if this uses GFWL. Just give me something well optimized, with some AA/AF, excelent gamepad support (yeah, I know) and relatively bug free and I'm happy.
Remember that DaS has a different MP infraestructure, it doesn't centralize servers as Demon Souls. So we can't really have dedis, be realistic about it, how an small and unexperienced PC developer as From Software can do all of that stuff in less than 4 months withl proper QA? That's why they choose GFWL: easier porting, really easy as far as I know and also P2P multiplayer architecture so they won't rewrite netcode. I hope we can play it at 60FPS in all of his glory.
I'm happy to play this in a PC as long as a I don't have any corrupt saves or some shit like that. You all guys should too. This is the first time we got what we wanted, even if it wasn't in a perfect, proper Steamy way. Most of you 'hates' consoles, so there you go. Here's your chance to play an awesome game without buying one.
Also, if this thing sells, expect the next Souls to release on PC too. It can happen, Bamco is greedy.

For those that refuse to buy it, on account of GFWL, but are instead going for the pirate copy and still going to play the game, I don't see how that's going to make the whole GFWL issues better/any less worse.
Guess some people will take any reason they can get to show off their hypocrisy.

Completely legit Arkham City here. And yes it was caused by GFWL, because the same shit occurred on the 360.

agreed. i never suffered from corrupt saves etc. the main prob is how slow it is, takes practically a solid minute just to log in etcetc

Online features adds alot to experience, so it sucks about the decision to go with GFWL, if it´s even half as bad as you guys make it out to be.
The good part of course being that it comes to pc at all AND that there is extra content that looks awesome.
The game in offline mode is still much better then pretty much any game out there...
Best thing that could happen is if they realize that gfwl was wrong way to go, but that pc-sales was still strong enough so they release next game for pc as well, but without gfwl.
