How do you record this image/iso? Nero reported "sectors dont match filesize". Recordnow does not ask the question but gives an error at the end. The resulting dvdr does not boot.

use dvd-decryptor and a dvd+r disc 9as you can fit slightly more on....
quote from this thread .... http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/12/190104
"
Choose MODE, ISO, WRITE, select my "source" <-- from my HD (GT4.MDS)
Then click on my "destination" on my dvd burner and burn it with 8X on FUJI DVD+R blank
DVD Decrypter gives me a "warning of not enough space on blank disc"
Do I want to burn anyways? Yes... OK to continue
DVD Decrypter burn all the way to 88% and gives me an "I/O error"
Then I just click on "CANCEL" and DVD Decrypter did a quick disc finalized
DVD drive ejects the backed up disc out
Put in my Swap Magic 3.6 Plus (DVD disc) in my PS2 console, it loaded to main menu
Open up Flip Top, take out Swap Magic disc and put in my backed up DVD5 of GT4
Hit [X] to boot up, presto...... it's loading, working and now I'm racing it like crazy."
I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

I took a chance and burnt it anyway (with Nero), ignoring the message and it works even with my old Messiah v1!!!! Thanks ss2gohan!! Perhaps next, you guys can release a version with just the arcade section, without the sim.

Yes.... but not all chips support DVD9 and lots of PS2 owners use Swap Magic which also doesn't support DVD9 .... incidently i love my "crappy incomplete version" ... i wouldn't play the arcade mode anyway
maybe you should research before commenting next time

tell me about a chip (non-swap) which doesn't work with toxic patch AND doesn't accept the HDD version and i admit i'm wrong about not caring about some half-burned game.
don't i need some magical illegal thing?

Why bother paying for it? The other 3 GTs I never bothered with Arcade Mode, so why bother paying for a DL disk or a HD just to get a mode that I wouldn't touch anyway?

It's far from "half-burned", the only thing missing is an option that I would never use so I would prefer to "be cheap" and spend the $0.25 on a dvd-r than go out of my way to buy a HD + network adaptor or a modchip.

Modchips are an insane waste of money...
I prefer USB Extreme with 120 GB HDD. No ModChip needed, no CD/DVD lens damage with crappy backups, and no void warranty.
