Well ACII,ACB, ACR are completely playable without crack or any modified file already. It will be nice to get non protected exe for AC1 too. But as someone mentioned it will probably be Vitality's .exe from version 1.02
Its a trick with ubilauncher. If you put only the .exe from old version and block it via firewall so it cannot update on start you unblock it when you reach log on screen and do the one time log in Then even if the launcher updates it still works. Recently ubisoft made offline mode for AC2 so the same method works with it (just finished my third playtrough and this method is confirmed working. Completed the game 100% sync) As for the Brotherhood if you use steam original v1.03 .exe game works fine, cuz steam exe doesn't have solidshield
