I kind of like this family tree buisness regarding alt characters, where if you go back to one of ur other toons and cast a buff from him on you, you will get like a buff from your other character in the family ur in due to the blood lines etc so sort of two for the price of one etc
This game will be great if Bioware has the guts to merge the servers and increase the population max by at least 5x per server. This will create a steady flow of people around all planets and make things more fun.
Jesus.... that's insane. What the hell is/was Bioware thinking? Cut those servers by 75% ffs! That many servers is just nuts and massively wasteful, it's spreading the population too thin and having a negative effect on the game.
Well it's not peak time, not even close, nor europe nor us. And most servers were like this since few weeks after launch. Initially it was high/very high but most stabilized at standard during peak times.
I agree they should have merged them, and even more so the servers should have had higher population cap to begin with.

I still can't believe that there are still companies using this multiple server scheme instead of a single shard. It's so 2004.
Id like to ask but probably know the answer anyhow, but is any of the deluxe items worth the code its made with? normaly all mmo's I play I dont go for that sales shit because nine times out of ten its useless in no time anyway.. I will guess that it is the same here?
I will be trying to play along side one other person through the level grind, any suggestions on class type duo's or twinning it up the same for following story etc would be nice thanks.

in one word.
Nope.
thanks sin
you have no input on the character class choices then?
ugh origin blows it dont accept paypal, cant see anyother digital stores for it really.. suprising.
combination doesnt make much difference, since you have companions aswell. Problem is, each class has its story missions which make proper coop play rather ... lenghty ...

Yeah, I linked another SWKinect compilation in the Epic thread. This is what Star Wars became: Han and Lando dancing in the freezing chamber with guards to some pop-shit, while stormtroopers cheer them on. Please Lucas, keep on changing the original trilogy and cut this scene in! That's what was missing all along!
The game isn't really dead, it was overhyped, yes. Certainly not dead though.
Sentinels are great dps, and going to be the best after 1.2 update.
Right now I'd suggest either playing a Sentinel/Marauder or a Shadow/Assassin.
I play on Axial Park and lead the server's largest guild, any nfohumper is welcome to join me there, but I wouldn't suggest it, it was one of the last servers to open up, so its really light. We still manage to do all of the end game and quite a bit of PvP though.
If anyone wants to know which story is best, what faction, what server, etc just ask. I've got 4 level 50s spread across 3 servers atm.

Its really fucking annoying the whole flotm stuff Im on a recently rolled sorc and its fun and ive kept people up with the heals and shields on bosses that should take 4 people "apparently" yet done with one assassin. But it seems some of them biochem craft items are pretty great for high health recovery but again on cool downs so its still not a win win with biochem only for solo playing.
I like my sorc but I hope its not majorly fucked in the ass after 1.2 to behonest, id rather not re roll. or like skill reset is there a way to change advanced class somewhere?
Thought as much. they giving a full skill reset on 1.2 release they should do a adv class change as well, as some might not like the way the class changed
Game is as dead as WAR, Rift, Aion, whatever else people pronounced dead a few months into release if not more when you look at the volume of subscribers lost with 2m boxes sold and now every server has like 100 people on at a time except a handful
Obviously you can still play it and have fun if you like it, I was playing Rift well into its 'death' and enjoying myself but it would take something unheard of to turn it around for TOR right now. 1.2 is gonna have to be the greatest patch in MMO history and I am not sure why anyone would believe Bioware has it in them at this point
What's disturbing to me is how almost no one even talks about this game any more. It used to be a spectacle, whether people loved it or hated it they all talked about it. That's kind of the death knell for me, how everyone can effectively ignore TOR. People look forward to GW2 or Tera, or back to WoW/MoP, but no one is looking at TOR anymore
I somehow expected SWTOR to fail.
But after about 3-4 months most servers already on low population?
Good thing i managed to sell my account for around 90€ some weeks ago. Don't think you will get that much now, even if you have the best items.
But i'm a bit sad, that it flopped. As i love the Star Wars universe
