the crack from skidrow doesnt work for me, the game detects the crack and after warining it crashes

Possibly Total.War.Shogun.2.Fall.of.the.Samurai.Upgrade.Patch-ALI213 9GB ?
There was a 5GB patch for the original at the same time FotS was released.
Then if you buy FotS, another ~3.5GB is downloaded.
Since both things rolled out at the same time it's a ~9GB update in total from the latest original version.
The last update before FotS I took a screenshot of is v1.1.0 build 4768.314775 (which was at the time of the Steam Christmas sale in december). I can't really say I remember any updates after that.
If that's that then the "9GB upgrade" should work with shitrow's crack I guess..unless they did something specific for their release.

Doesn't work with 9GB update only. Splash screen shows and then some error pops up.

I have S2TW+RoTS steam but I think there are some other files needed to get FoTS work - will try to compare it with skidrow one

Yes SKIDROW works.
@prudislav
If you want to compile Your TW:S2 old version with 9GB update it will work with skid crack, but FoTS standalone doesn't work.
Someone with legit FoTS only and playing it could tell how many gigs his game is, cuz i think it wants some files from original.

mine game crashes at start the campaign
The game ctd as soon as the campaign loads. Also…instead of the clan description when you want to start a campaign..there’s something about a tampered exe has been detected, and if you continue ..the game will shut down

Lol you are right. Didn't tried to start campaign before just started the game and i though it works, but when you start FotS campaign it loads forever and if you press ctrl+alt+del you see that .exe had crashed. So broken crack again nothing surprising for SKIDROW

managed to play about 4 turns, then crashed in the first battle. now when i load, i crash whenever i click end turn.

The protection for Shogun seems to be pretty tricky, I have a legit copy but I remember even when I used a trainer for single player, sometimes the game would detect it and say I was not running an official version or something and stop me playing.

Ok, It may sound weird but Creative must fix the fonts.Now the fonts are even smaller, wtf.It's unacceptable.Give us a fucking UI scale option.Game is unplayable at 1080p.

No Problem starting the Campaign but Game crashing when im firing in (land) battles from ship support.
It was the 1st round and the 1st battle so dont know about next turns.
I think we have to wait for an proper if some1 can or skidrow can fix it.
And yeah, fonts are a joke, like in Shogun 2 before!

They will refund pre-orders, but getting a refund for a released game can be tricky unless it's a technical issue to the point where you can't play the game at all. Still, asking them can't hurt.

AFAIK they offer a single refund per account, if it's a released game. If you used that one opportunity, you'll be stuck with what you bought afterwards.

Let me guess.You're playing 30cm from your monitor.I'm playing in my living room so the problem is even bigger for me.I ask a simple UI Scale option which is 2min work for them and Creative refuse to listen to their customers years now.

Hmm, this is strange. While I know that the current crack is broken, all I've read so far has lead me to believe that it at least lets you get ingame. For me, the game just doesn't start at all - nothing happens after I run the exe. Now I'm worried that there's some other problem for me than just a buggy crack. Any1 else having this problem?

Did you tried to delete Shogun 2 folder from here? Not TCA folder only Shogun 2.
C:\Users\USERr\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Shogun2

I haven't crashed yet biggest problem I have in about 6 hours of play is clicking on a certain town turns my fps to crap for no reason. It goes away eventually though
I think I just wasted 50 turns of a campaign though cause some insane shogun clan when I'm on shogun side decides to attack me with tons of bows and katanas (wtf) and all I have is levy because I have teched every city for income. I seriously can't stop these guys
