yes that would make sense kind of for 1999... but not 2001
so your saying i could have a old 1972 subaru car, keep it in my garage and register it today and call it a 2005 subaru?? think about it

in advertisment, you don't put when the car was registered, you put when it was BUILT wtf is the point of putting when it was regisstered... noone needs to know when someone got their car registered... come on dude

in germany you usually use the date of first registration afaik...

No, but seriously, if a new model goes into production all the peeps usually want to have the new model. Its hard for car-sellers to get the old ones out of their shops then. I have seen it at least two times that a car was like 2 years out of production and still standing in a car shop waiting to be sold. Since the price wasnt that good compared to the newer models it just didnt find a buyer. I could understand that if one gets one of those slow sellers that he would write down the year of purchase in an ad... |
