Since I'm gonna find myself with some much needed free time and since I have the money at the moment, I thought about picking up an MMO (again).
And while browsing all the current ones I got curious.
Which, if any at all, MMOs are folks here playing?

My SWTOR subscription recently expired and I probably won't renew for a month or so. Right now I downloaded AO again and I'm gonna see if I feel like continuing to play.
If not I'll likely resub to EVE for a couple of months.

Played Rift for almost a year and liked it very mutch the support from the devs and the fast content updates are unmatched in this genre ,setting is a little generic but it has grown on me. Played Swtor after that and decided that its just not for me the game is lacking in almost every aspect, its almost the oppossite of the feature rich Rift if you ask me.

Resubbed to Rift for a month to check out all the improvements (there are tons) but won't be renewing after this. Too much of a WoW clone. Love the class system though.

problem with wow (i really enjoyed it sure) is in my opinion, the slow updates
+ i was never big into pve and pvp get boring quickly, unless you become almost professional hehe.
played AO for 2 months beginning this year. Game is stil fun, sure, but there arent any people (or almost none) who level chars and they just run around in their 220 chars doing jackshit 
IF EVER they finish the engine update tho, im sure will give it another run
Startrek online : i tried it again when it became F2P, but i find it as boring/generic as it was when it came out (day 1 player here , like sabin and others). Sure it improved, but its still getting boring very quickly.
Rift : bought it when it was all cheap on steam (like 10 bucks or something) and played a bit (level 20+ ish) but yeah, it felt still very generic aswell and not motivating at all.
Swtor : now this is worse, i bought the game and played one char to 50, through the whole storyline. It was entertaining .. once ... stupid as i was, i added another 3 months sub to it, because i wasnt done with my main char (keep in mind, 2-3 weeks in, i switched servers to join kuro and had to restart from zero). But once i restarted another char, it became very boring very quickly. Once you know the mechanics, you realise its all about pressing "skill1, skill2, skill3 (depending on char add 4,5,6 top) rinse and repeat. you use the same rotation over and over and over again ...
will check again when 1.2 comes (IF my sub is still active then lol otherwise i wont).
tried tera online : found it also very generic. Mechanics arent new btw, its the same.. EXACT same mechanics Diablo 2 uses ... cant move and attack, need to aim and can dodge, except it doesnt have near the "addictition" or fun factor of d2.
gw2 im not looking forward to at all. i didnt like gw1 at all (which back then was supposed and advertised as a d2 killer) but was just boring pve wise and pvp wasnt much different either.

Recently started LOTRO again but having troubles at the moment with lag/connectivity issues.
Got a sub to SWTOR that runs out in 5 days and wont be renewing, everything seems too easy.

Currently non, was playing WoW for 7 years, but the game went even more ape shit lately, was playing swtor, but that game is just fucking boring, no matter how you try, you wont feel any Star Wars in that game after a while, its just mindles grind with some dialogues that does not matter.
Upcoming MMOs ? Tera online ? Tera is a fucked up grind again, playing EU Beta, and the game looked good, but it went uber boring after like 6 days (3x2 week days). Guild Wars 2 ? I hope so.. The only MMo im looking forward to right now, but with no release date and preorder starting in April, we can pray it will be released in May/Jun-July hopefully.
Will probably try Lotro, i played Beta and i liked it, also i played free version few years ago, was good, will try the full version hopefully it will be somehow good.
