There's already a similar thread or two but I just had to create this one since I had an epiphany about it.
This is my desktop background:
A week or two ago I had the most amazing "movie" playing in my head. A third person game, Blade Runner.. Basically a full 3D world Blade Runner game with a new story (like the amazing but badly aged game from 1997) where you are a Blade Runner running around in the city, traveling to different locations trying to solve various cases under one or several main arc storylines. Think Deus Ex HR but with pure Blade Runner atmosphere, environment and locations, obviously no high tech stealth stuff, it's not a shooter after all.
Complete with Voight-Kampff detectors, image enhancer, clues, mysteries, replicants etc. etc. etc.
That's my dream, a modern fully fleshed no-dumbed-down 3rd person Blade Runner game. I'd sell my soul, spleen and both legs to get that game made.

System Shock 3, PC-only and with the old gameplay basically intact. And a sequel to the fantastic Vampire Bloodlines, and Alpha Protocol 2, and Freelancer 2 and...ok, time to stop dreaming.

@ Frant, the closest you'd get to a blade runner game would be Prey 2 which looks very promising...
Dont mess with God, he can impregnate your girlfriend/wife without taking his pants off!

I really hope for a Gothic game which will go back to its roots gameplay-wise and lore wise before the events of all the Gothic games currently made (maybe we'll get a chance to assist at The Battle of Varant, while having the choice of siding with the king Rhobar I or with the other ones - forgot their names). That has such a big potential and it's also possible now that they have the rights back (unless PB didn't get money-hungry already...).
There are really a lot of games I would like to play, some sequels to other games, some games that haven't been tried before.
What I really want though is a proper sequel to Severance and a proper sequel to Drakan, or at least a remake for the PC of the second game (but I doubt any of those is possible since Sony has the rights to the IP from what I know).

I want a proper Sam&Max and Monkey Island sequel not that Telltale crap also I want a sequel to Grim Fandango and Full Throttle.
Also System Shock 3, another Deus Ex... These from the top of my head...

A modern version of Tenchu for PC. Only played the first on PS1 but I really liked it, even though I couldn't understand a thing because it was japanese. The thing I liked was that you could completly stealth through a mission or mow down everyone.
OR something like Bushido Blade
OR something like Vigilante 8
these games were great fun to play with friends
