I think leo's custom script had something like this going on, and even if most people here didn't install it, the ones that did gave 0 fucks about that rate-a-post mechanic.

I'm invisioning a rating system that would automatically collapse threads that have a lower-than-some-point rating. Am I close enough and of course will it work? Will we really achieve something with it or will it become just another silly toy where good posts get voted down. Then everyone shouldn't have the equal opportunity to vote - then there's the silly rabbit..who is? People with enough post counts? People that are active over a period of time? People that didnt get banned in the past?
