According to one of the devs at FWH, when Witcher 2 launched it wasn't even worthy of being considered a beta, apparently it was "unplayable" Oh well, it's not like I lose anything... either the EE is released 100% free of charge to every single person who bought the Steam version -- or I download it for free courtesy of FLT. I didn't get the game for pennies from the bundle, I bought mine full price.
Anyway, they're teasing some release info tomorrow (estimated release date and whatnot) on their Facebook page -- which is encrypted and you have to decrypt. The first person to do so gets a free copy of HR on Steam.
This kind of stuff isn't fun or interesting, it's aggravating. I don't give a fuck if it was Kalypso or FWH that dealt with the retail release, but to be a Steam-copy owner and be left in the dark like this without and kind of info for weeks, only stupid little hints and "don't blame us, we don't know the answers!" bullshit defence just grinds my gears.
ohh. Since its already bumped, may I ask if there are any perfomrance tweaks? I am getting weird performance in range from 20 to 70(on medium without aa). No matter what options. Maybe my cpu is a bottleneck here
on lowest options I get around 40minimum or 30+ during some close explosions etc

Oh don't worry, I get it .. I do. I just don't like the coy teasing nor do I completely accept that a publisher has flat out told the dev team "You are forbidden from speaking of the Steam version of the game" -- that just doesn't sit well with me. I'm tired of this ridiculous business ethos that caters only to new customers and not existing ones. Still, I've not lost anything so I'm not all that mad --- either I get it free, or I get it "free" After the Team17 beta-test debacle, where they put out AB for the 360 and later released the enhanced/extended version for PC/PS3 only, I swore never to let myself get suckered like that again.
Hey guys, First of all thanks for all the support you showed us with our first game!
To show our respect for all the PC gamers who picked up Hard Reset, we decided that the upcoming Expansion will be FREE for all those who already own Hard Reset on Steam!
The DLC should be available sometime between the last week of April and the first week of May.

Well I have old pc so it its fault I guess. Will have to wait for upgrade then

hmmm... I get 100 in some areas but 20 in other. And thats on low settings.
But I see Your point. I will try to tick it some more, becouse I like the setting- feels really blade runnery.
Game is not another painkiller but it seems really cool. I could easily see how awesome it can be 60fps on high

I´m still waiting for the steam update, dunno why they are taking so long.
They said last week of April/first of May from the beginning.
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
I'm not sure where they got the name from, but DSO are reporting that Hard Reset: Exile is now available on Steam, with existing owners getting the upgrade for free. The trailer and Steam only make mention of "Hard Reset: Extended" so the Exile name is new to me.
Back in March, we informed you about Hard Reset’s extra content hitting Steam for free. Well, good news for those who already own Flying Wild Hog’s FPS title as the DLC – titled as Hard Reset: Exile – is now available on Steam. As promised, this is a free DLC and it will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client. Kudos to Flying Wild Hog for offering such a thing.
Hard Reset: Exile features four new creature types, a new boss monster, five new campaign levels with a total of about three additional hours playing time as well as two new levels for the survival mode and an improved graphics engine.
Enjoy!

is the dlc listed in steam under available dlc? or has the game itself just been updated to the 'extended version' so the dlc isnt separate like other steam dlc is...
According to DSO, it went live on Steam about an hour ago. I've not restarted Steam yet so I can't confirm .. and I'm in the middle of a download anyhow, so I'm in no rush.
~edit~
Damned curiosity. I restarted Steam and nothing, no update yet. Either it's not out or it takes time to propagate.
They were probably obligated to keep the DLC exclusive to the retail copy and brand-new Steam purchases for a set period of time, but rather than coming right out and saying that - they just drag their heels over the free Steam upgrade.
