Nice to see a release date, cost unfortunately seems to be 60 Euro as suspected though.
(Though cheaper than their asking price can probably be found without too much difficulty.)

Epic price is epic. Nice catch with the year-early preorder Very Happy

Pah, that shit is nothing. I cancelled this order cos I'm getting it free with my WoW sub, as well as having the collectors edition preordered, check out the preorder date here:

yep its probably because of beta servers are only in US. Will try it later at my unstable home connection. Still i am not gonna buy it until offline play is possible (i am interested in SP only)

That's one of the reasons why I'm not getting excited for D3 -- to know that at any moment, without warning, my net could drop (radio internet) or Blizzard's servers might take a hammering and go down themselves, interrupting my single-player game.

Not fun Sad

Then you might want to keep mooege on your watch list (google it).

As someone already said, beta servers are different from real servers. As long as you're on any reasonable connection then it won't ever be a problem.

So can this game be even played in offline? I hope it's as bad as that Ubisoft shit, and gets cracked Razz

Nope, well.. not properly at least. As Overlord said; there's a private server emulator by mooege that works for the beta, but isn't even remotely finished. Even the relatively small part of the game presented in the beta isn't complete in the emulator.

Sure, tell that to Ubisoft. Or my net provider Razz

No it relies on a lot of server side data so playing it completely offline won't be possible without use of mods or what might be needed.

EDIT: Like that above emulator. Smile

That's a shame, I'd have liked to try the good old Isodemo. Oh well, thankfully I'm not excited about the game, I can eventually grab some cheap key later on

Are you being sarcastic or just dumb, I thought that you hated DRM on this and won't be playing this,

I think wether or not you're gonna play this, an actual release date announcement is a big deal.
it's like valve announcing half life 3.
it doesn't matter if you're gonna play or not, it's just an important moment for any gamer Smile

now I just gotta figure out how to relocate all my vacation days of the next 10 years at work to may 15th....

Not for me. Also, after playing the beta, I can say that I probably won't be playing the game even if it will get cracked, unless I'm extremely bored (because this way I can tolerate a bit more crapiness in a game).

What a weird release date. Who, besides the nerds, plays in the summer months?
