I tested it out with the Risen 2 beta (demo), might as well test this too then while that subscription lasts.
EDIT: Quite impressed, this game could be really good, will be checking up on it's development more, it's still a very early build though I liked it.
(The Swedish terms will take some time getting used to, mixing them like this feels strange but it's working pretty well.)
It's most definitely worth €8 .. and you can choose to pay without VAT if you're in a country that doesn't usually get charged VAT. Like Norway, for example, I chose without VAT and was able to get it for €7.99 instead of €9.99
The alpha is out and playable, though you have to register on the forum and request alpha access via email, with the full gold is coming on the 24th of April.
~edit~
Strangely.. the "gold preorder" copy that I bought is over a gigabyte smaller than the pre-alpha test :\
1.2GB for gold/2.7GB for pre-alpha.
~edit~
Wait, never mind. That's just Steam being ghey. The actual Krater FOLDER is 2.7GB, same size as the cloudberrytest folder (Krater pre-alpha test)
Uhh, might want to read a few posts in this thread, matey I've not only already been in the alpha, but I liked what I saw so much that I went and bought the game
