location-wise, this seems like a mix between vice city and san andreas, looks great imo.
(i could swear one of the first shots was vice city´s main eastern street with beach)

Either that or very soon indeed, owing to the other big title they're launching in spring...
I didn't think graphically it looked very good, but of course it's hard to tell from a trailer.
it does smell like "more of the same", so hopefully it'll be different enough from its predecessors to make it fun enough to purchase / complete.
Bit of a shame no release date was given, which does point towrads later next year - in time for holidays.

Yes, but Nolan's films are so anti-video games, it's just silly. How do you adapt such complex stories into a game? And what genre? A brawler? Even the Arkham games have good storylines, which somehow I doubt will be found here.

I'mreally doubt that they're going to release it this autumn. I can see them doing the same thing that they did with GTA 4.
Supposed to be released in October but was then pushed back to April the following year, for tweak's or for the new tax year?

i dont think GTA IV delay was planned, they would have expected higher sales had they made it for october. i think V will release oct/nov at latest. by 2013 people will be looking to the next consoles - this is surely their last window to release it.

Also, now they have their engine done basically. Sure, it might undergo some shader tweaking, but nothing serious. So they only have the content to worry about, and they have had enough time to finish that.
