Right, just checking up on this thread, and I see some endings are reserved only for those, who play MP as well. Pretty smooth. I wonder what they achieve by forcing people to play MP in order to get a SP ending ... THe fuck were they thinking?
BioWere indeed.

After three hours I can safely say that for me it's an absolutely mediocre game under all the possible aspects.
I didn't particularly enjoy ME2, but the story here is absolutely banal, uninspired, the dialogues are extremely corny and clichèd and the gameplay, well it's basically the same as ME2 except for the faster pace and uber-powered melee system.
It's clearly a game designed for the Call of Duty generation, a cinematic third person shooter where every single battle is the same and there's only one way to achieve objectives, since the choices are just an illusion and linearity is the key for everything.
No way I'm going to waste 20-30 hours of my life on this garbage, ME3 will soon join DA2 in the magic land of the prematurely uninstalled junk made in Biowere.

I got the full war map no MP, just thorough playing. The game is getting better by the minute. I'm nearing the end, think i'm gonna pull an all-nighter this evening.
Asus, B550, 3700X, 3060, 32GB.

SO i ended the game a few mins ago i will give a big shitloads of spoiler ahead so dont read if you dont want to cry after this, also few questions now and then so if you want /discuss
Spoiler: | Front start the game was boring shallov, after a while it got better a lot, but then the side missions looked like ripped out of a MP, that was the time i realized MP is just a really bad ripoff out of SP maps, no big originality on that one. Well anyway, as you go thru the game, the are few main quests but they are chained like with a big fucking chain (If you want X go get Y, if you want Y go get Z, etc etc etc.), the difficulty level was really badly designed, i played most of the time on Hardcore from start to like 80% of the game with changing to the difficulty to the Easiest just to skip the stupid design of the game to make game harder by throwing 50 enemies at once that all throw grenades at you at the same time while whooting at you... really stupid. Also nearly all Cerberus missions ended with the same fucking robot "Atlas" at the end doing the same shit. Story.... dont make me start one that even, if was a bland and felt like soap opera that "sometimes someone have to die to emotionaly stymulate you" no matter what you do sometimes someone close will die, even Legion that claimed he dont need body to live had to die..... Dialogues, they were actually pretty good if you mean that one that you were not in but just listening to them AKA Garus talking to James on crew decks about what they did, it was great and fun to listen to. Dialogues as the one when you "have the ability to change something" nearly always had 2 options and those were nearly all the time same, no Pure bad, or pure good... and they werent even that often, sometimes i felt like i would like to do something or answer differently to that, but it was just a cutscene that i could only watch and dont interact, i remember that i could interact more often in ME2 and change some really bad stuff, or go with that Paragon good stuff, in ME3, no more of that, you were watching movie nearly all the time, there were also a good dialogues in, like the one with Garus on top of a Presidium. I ended game after nearly 23~ hours on harcore with all the side missions and all the stuff you could make, bit a of a dissapoint, i thought there will be like a another half of the game just you trying the get Earth back and Citadel also, i was dissapointed that there were non The Earth missions were really bland "just go forward shoot stuff, then waves of enemies come and you will have to lower difficulty beacause once again, 3 brutes and 4 Banshes will appear and you will even die on the easies option because they also spawn 50 random cannibals btw... I loved the before the mission begins "say goodbye" to people mission it made me really really sad to say good bye to all the people i played with for 3 games and nearly 150 hours. When your going to the Citadel i thought you will go there and fight the whole citadel to get to the top and open it, instead you got blasted with a fucking lazer in the face that melted your armor away, and you just went on to the beam and TPed straight to when you wanted, what a coincidence, after that your like allright im gonna open this shit and end this, but noooo, Illusive Man had to be there because the had to teleport somehow there... and then after a lenghty conversations that you had the "paragon and renegade options you should use" but you could not use the last one because you choose in all Paragon stuff you could 2x Renegade, you ended up doing nothing, and even had Renegade option to kill him (Who would not....) but not before you randomly shot Anderson in the fucking leg, eventually he dies because of that, because hey, you live and you got a fucking lazer to the face, and he got shot in the leg (He took shot to the knee), and he died out of that, then eventually dont die, and a little kid that can rule the world appears out of nowhere and ask you if you want to end the world or end the world, having a lot of ending you choose to end the world surprisingly, i choose the "Anderson" way to destroy all Geth/Reapers and all relays etc etc, as that was the first thing that i could choose, i was dissapointed that the second one was even "better", the ending cutscene was emotional and it got me i made one small *Man Tear*, for the Mass Effect as a series, and realized that "this is it" the ending, i felt really sad after that, i was a bit angry at Bioware that they screwed the game and made it an obvious Console only port that could be palyed at PC, a lot sad, that it was over and that there wont be any more of this and even if there will, it wont be as good as when i first started Mass Effect few years ago and felt in love with all that story characters and all things together, my final verdict would be 6-7/10, 5+ just because it is better that most of the games nowadays anyway, and 1-2 point for great voice acting, decent story that had a great flash moments(Haging out with Garrus, Thanes death), and some great moments in it that made you forget that this game turned into pile of crap, but you wanted to see ending non the less, no matter how shitty it was, you wanted to see and feel how what you started a years ago will end, how that first Reaper you killed will affect you at the end...
Hopefully there will be some games that will continue the story after what youve done at the ending, maybe some books etc, games should be from other studio most preferably the one that is not "under the wings of EA" so the game could be atleast decent, i will spit on this game if it will have MMO or strategy games in it, i would love some real RPG, maybe the story of survivors from the Normany crash at the end.
Thanks for reading all this, sorry for a lot of grammar errors, and hopefully you will understand what i mean. Thanks. |

Indeed. I did every mission I could find on the star map (did not scan every planet and completed only a handful "fetch this for Team Fuck You" missions. I didn't come even close to 5000 points, I think it was less than 3k. And it seems that you have to gain close to 4000 to get any significant differences in the end.
Also, I was disappointed that the choices you make throughout the game don't matter at all considering the ending, only war assets do. It doesn't matter what assets you have, only the final value.
