Anyone else experiencing their character upgrades being reset after every restart, or is this frustration mine alone?

Best of the series for me. The prologue and the Mars thing are bad, especially technically, but it's the old ME after that. I'd rather have a good story driven shooter with lite RPG elements than an RPG wannabee which is "just good" at both aspects (yes, I'm talking about ME1). This one is also "deeper", or however you want to call it, than ME2 (which I think is the worst of the three). I don't know why people complain about the writing and the dialogue since it's typical Bioware, so it's as "crap" as the previous games.

I also agree with your score for the game. It's a bit better than DA2 since it's not so cheesy, but it's really obvious that they pulled another DA2 with this.
