I'm still enjoying it. Mind you, I didn't hop on the WoW bandwagon and play it for the past 9 years (or however long its been out). I did play WoW, and yes, it's quite similar gameplay mechanics and skills and such, but that didn't bother me since I simply was not over exposed to it due to my lack of time playing WoW.
I'm a fan of the SW universe (not so much the movies, honestly) and IMO, the stories for each class are really good. I'm not saying you will enjoy it, but I'm also not saying you won't enjoy it. For me, this is a great time waster and I'm totally enjoying playing this.
If you go in for the same reasons as I did, you will have fun. If you go in expecting anything else or if you want to have a true MMO experience, then you won't.

that's a shame: it's exactly why I wanted to try this one, BUT can't, cause of stupid decisions taken by developers, something like, "your region is using open servers, so blah blah blah..."
Maybe I should use a forein proxy, but too lazy to try and BTW doesn't know how to do it.

This trial is just another carrot like the open beta was, showing very little.
Is it me or did they enable the trial program rather quickly? I can't remember how long other recent MMOs dealth with this, but IIRC they waited longer before starting to panic for subscribers.

this isnt free open trial, most p2p mmo's do that friends trial and rather soon.

been playing a few hours now and its FUN but in a SP kind of way, i mean its pretty much kotor...but a little shittier
i guess this game is fun if you play thru it with a friend or two
as an mmo? CRAP

Well to tell the true the first month is great to play (story mode) after that (level 50, valor rank 65 or higher it's useless to play), but since you need to pay for a gamecard (because i don't have a mastercard or whatever crap card you need) your tied to 3 months. It's a shame to let those other 2 months fly away for nothing.
I can understand Amer_MerzZz completely since i had the same issue.
My brother played 2-3 years world of warcraft, he wanted something new and started with swtor ... even he got bored after 2 and half month. Also he didn't renew the sub.
Bioware failed with this game so badly.
