So, aside from the cheesy story, simplified dialogues, bad graphics and animations, how is the game? Worse or better than ME2?
I don't even know if I should bother with the ISO demo at this point, ME2 left me with a very bitter taste in my mouth and I don't feel masochistic enough to repeat the same experience again

If you didn't like ME2, you can definitely skip this one. After 3-4 hours I'd say it's almost the same experience. Except no hacking.
So you're given the same ship with same back and forth running, same weapons, same characters, same graphics, similar missions, same grand plot (prologue, get your crew, final battle) with only little new additions (weapon mods). Gonna play this through though.

Friggin DLC. For once I'd like to just click a torrent and get the full game, not search around for hours to make sure I get the whole deal. Damn you EA.

Is there any way to disable that horrible derp of field effect (maybe bloom too)? I can't find the INI files anywhere, even though I remember them being in the game's directory somewhere when I downloaded the demo.
Also, here's the best Shepard:
It's the same character with which I started the first game, only slightly changed in ME2 and slightly changed again now, in ME3.
The game is quite horrible. At the moment, I can tolerate a bit more crap in a game since I'm extremely bored, but I would say this is even worse than ME2. The dialogues are absolutely retarded for one (along with the writing itself). I don't get why they had to fuck up the HUD, since it worked just fine before. Now there are so many shits showing up on the screen, unnecessary shits. Also, the fact that you can't holster your weapon is definately annoying, since most of the game you'll be blocked in that horrible FoV that the combat parts use. Taking screenshots in the missions is pointless now, since you have all those idiotic HUD elements all the time on screen, which would have gone away in ME2 when you holstered the weapon. Fuck off, BioWhore! Do you actually expect people to pay for this pile of shit? Learn to make a proper game first, then a proper sequel and just then we can possibly talk about you stealing money from people.

Here's a modified Coalesced.bin for those of you who go under 60FPS. The only thing changed in this is the infamous bEnableMouseSmoothing disabled so your mouse sensitivity won't fluctuate with framerate.

Goes into
\Mass Effect 3\BIOGame\CookedPCConsole\
Backup your old one, etc..

im just playing it to see the climax of the "hollywood-like storyline" and some random homoerotic encounters (which are the leading urge to play)

And this is what, a thinking man's game? A deep analysis of homosexual relationships in the future? At least GoW drops all the pretense and delivers pure, mindless fun.

Right so I played till I got to the citadel everything up till now has been dreadfully linear and on rails, no exploring or anything.
Now that I am finally able to walk around a little bit, is there an option somewhere to select the from ashes dlc ? Can not seem to find it yet.
I unlocked it with the reloaded unlocker.
