Anyone found a way to import you me1+2 character ? Everything seems in place and its blank...

Importing character worked normally for me (got ME2 installed) on one of those multilanguage editions. DLC requires autenthication, though.

Go to

C:\Users\NAME\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect 3\BIOGame\Config

and open gamersettings.ini

Copy and paste the folder address for your ME 2 save next to

[SaveGames]
Location=

So:

[SaveGames]
Location=C:\Users\NAME\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect 2\Save\

Save the file, and done. Smile

I guess you need proper "keys" for it to work as the discusion was lately, so it needs to be adjusted...


After the release forums got quiet for few hours, hopefully first reviews would be atleast decent non the less, waiting for some first thought from Sabin(The Mass Effect Basher !!!).

I read some dozen pages ago that one could make your own mass effect 2 savegame if you somehow lost it.

Anyone got the link?

I was going to find the page on masseffect.com. I assumed they'd have a page there about the DLC. I was wrong. They have wank. Lots and lots of wank.

Well I don't know about you guys, but I've certainly not received any "DLC not authorised" message yet. Imported my FemShep, got lv30 and 18 points to spend, and I'm currently running through the "demo" prologue areas, shooting husks like it was in the demo. No message yet. As for the DLC itself?
