The game installs good with no errors, just when I try to play it random gives me that error after a few min.

works great with the complex release here now, the xpg didnt work, could have been a bad burn tho. Ihas+Burnermax at 4x on verbs with optimal layer break set.
Oh and dont forget to burn the 2nd DVD right away.. im sitting here now waiting for it to complete cuz the game asks for it pretty early on... (some sidequest)

Both are used. I just had it crash on my jtag in what I'm assuming is a disc swap prompt. I got over an hour in and I headed towards a side quest on a planet. It flashed fatal error in one of those pop up messages then kicked me back to fsd when I tried to land.
edit: ooo.. my first multi disc game on jtag. Apparently there's all this multi disc stuff to get around it. |
The game (mainly the XPG version) appears to have issues when extracted, use GOD packages; people say that works without crashes.

Ungh, I'm going to give a pass on playing this game on the 360. I played both ME1 and 2 on PC and I just can't cope with playing a fps on console, it's just mind-bogglingly retarded. Game runs fine, but I'm gonna wait until I can activate PC-version... also with better graphics.

Had the same crash when playing FF13 , just copied next dvd and tried it again..disc was automatically swaped and problem was solved..
Rlses are fine.. |

Sounds like the COMPLEX version possible isn't pre-patched with the topology data.. so that would be causing your "failed to authorise" error. Though I've not heard anyone else mentioning the authorisation issue :\

im still testing but after a few hours nothing crashes so far
so i can give u my check list

not ihas
2.4 speed
verb
imgburn
optimal and truncate
i checked my iso in abgx twice and after booting the game i got a title update
installed it and so far it works
playing from disk, not hdd

Hmmmm, well after i noticed abcforfree msg about playing from disc not HDD I took my first burn (wich gave me the "failed to authorise" error) I deleted the content from HDD and started from disc and sofar its running without error.
Anyone know why it now works ?
Hope it works now so my son can start playing it 2 morrow, mine version comes next week the N7 since I pre ordered the game.
Edit:
Played for 30 min without a prob so I wonder why I cant play from installing it to HDD

I heard you require swapping of disc frequently when does first you have to swap disc my disc 1 is done but disc 2 will take another 8 hours

Now that would be fucking retarded of Bioware and EA!
ME2 had one required point that a disc swap, I don't see why t hey should go full retard with this by making players go back and forth with the 2 discs.

No i had that message with binary domain. Maybe those problems comes from patching to lt2.0.
no you shouldn't patch you are on lt3.0.

Well, i see alot of talk, so they can't be all playing, but not of the actual game 
 Spoiler: | did anyone choose not to warn the krogan about the tower sabotage when attempting to cure the genophage? System is fucking idiotic for this choice. You don't know if what you say leads to only rep or paragon/renegade. I as a paragon want them to continue being sterile as they only threaten of galactic war once they are cured, but i had to choose the warning as it is the top option. So i dunno what will happen, hope i don't screw things up because the game system have me choosing things without me really getting to choose what i most want in order to play it properly.
That was more than i aimed at writing :S |

I played it for like an hour or two..
What I found is that there are more explosions, bigger breasts and more muscles, oh and more modern warfare/battlefield style sound effects whenever possible.
Oh and importing my ME2 character put me on fucking level 24 at the start of the game.
wtf is up with that? It should put me at level -10 so it's actually challenging for someone who completed the earlier games.
If I start without my save I don't get to decide what happened in the earlier games so I can't do that either. fucked either way! wttttff
no sign of any moves towards ME1 RPG elements so far.

To those of you who are playing on a JTAG/RGH - have you encountered a disc swap requirement yet? What happens? Im on the latest FSD, and I wanna know if it swaps discs itself or if it crashes..
