These threads are the most entertaining on the humps. Then some noobcake comes and says he LOVES the game and everyone trolls him. And then the biggest troll who trolled everyone goes and buys the game he trolled... Just the way of the humps.

http://blog.gib.me/2012/02/16/mass-effect-3-coalesced-bin-tool/
Ini editor, those files are giving me a headache, tons of stuff to go trough and it's all layered up, thankfully most of it remains similar to editing other UE3 titles.
(Remove logos, 2048 max shadow resolution, 4096 max texture resolution - for mods - left it alone but possible to remove that framerate smoothing, can also disable certain effects individually and a number of other tweaks and that's just the engine "ini" file out of over ten other files from gameplay to ai to difficulty.)

@tonizito: I've got no problem with it whatsoever. I just find it funny, that's all.
@DarkRohirrim: I'm no Bioware protector - I've been yelling at them many times, for many different reasons and I usually find their games just "good", if even that at all (since ME1, btw, perhaps with a single exception of Dragon Age 1 - which I could actually call a "great" game). I do, however, find all this negativity and flaming completely unproportional.
@iNatan: Yeah, so I've noticed
@Sabin: I know all that, and I actually partially agree (with one exception, though: I'm not a ME1 fan). It's just that, reading last couple of pages of this thread, a person might get the impression that when someone says "Mass Effect three", everyone here instantly sees a steaming pile o shit. Yet, that doesn't really seem to be the case, because all those people are still waiting to actually play the game - and people very rarely eat shit voluntarily
That overblown negativity is really all I'm getting at. Maybe it's just failed expectations, dunno.

You can't have 131 pages of "adult critical discussion". There has been adult discussion of how ridiculous the premise for this game is from the start of the thread. Then there was adult discussion of how bad the demo is. But as time goes on and people get more and more frustrated with this shit, the derp count ramps up.

Okay, but you have to take in to account, that people like posting here, and just like how it is, when you go out to a pub with your friends, it's not always deep philosophical discussions, I would bet. Sometimes you go out with your friends, and just have a laugh or ten about a few topics - that's people acting normal. Many of us had analyzed ME3 over and over already, but since we obviously like to hang around the hump, like one hangs around with mates, the less serious stuff come out, too. I see nothing wrong with that.

Thank you for ordering on Origin Store. The product that you preordered is now available for preload. To download your game just visit the "My Games" section of the Origin.
|
Most stores should have the pre-load beginning. Just grab the code from whatever download service you used and begin the Origin pre-load.
ME3 seems to rely on the same mechanism as Amalur for release date checking, so it should be 'relatively' straight forward to use that to crack ME3. The Origin pre-load puts all the data there, you just need to get around the release date check.

Not saying it's wrong. I just prefer a different type of discussion (e.g. RPGWatch has pretty decent discussions, even they are highly critical of bioware and the game). I'm not sure why this annoys me so much.
It's just my personal opinion. I know you guys are just having fun.
