Are you prepared to:

step into the spacesuit of Rachel Manners and find out why she was the sole survivor of this ill-fated expedition?
utilize an ingenious MOBOT – a mobile robot designed for planetary exploration to investigate this solar system and all its wonders?
solve the mystery of the mission’s failure and locate the missing crew?
travel to six unique planets and uncover their secrets?
solve puzzles, gather clues and communicate with the most temperamental artificial intelligence ever designed?

Really awesome game made by 2 guys, looks great, UI is kinda of a "dodgy" but considering 2 guys spend more than 3-4+ years on this i will buy one or two copies, great adventure, reminds me of an old times when adventures were not as popular like Indiana Jones or Monkey Island in its style (Not as funny, but same feeling). Hopefully more old school gamers will check this game out, and chill out with this great adventure !

I think those people are called pirates, they don't tend to spend money on games.

Preview made it seem quite interesting, haven't played it myself though.
(There's a demo also but it's the same size as the game at ~750 MB.)

Just checked the trailer and some screenshots and it don't say much. What is the actual gameplay composed of? Is it just some puzzle one after the other with cut-scenes in-between or do you actually walk around? Point&Click or 3D?

Gameplay consists of a mix of point'n'click interactive puzzles and a choice-based text adventure. Voices are hit and miss, pretty low budget, and most of the game is made up of prerendered assets - like static backdrops or looping FMVs.

I'm not sure. It seems like it could be very engrossing, it plays out like a cross between an adventure game book and something like Myst/Riven. I'm going to keep playing, see how it goes, but I'm pretty interested in it at the moment.

... wow, that didn't take long >_< I'm stuck already! Good grief. Supposed to construct a device using schematics I found, the proviso is that as long as you have the correct components connected to each other - and the input/output - you can improvise any missing pieces - but there simply aren't enough pieces to go around.

I'm still confused >_<

If I can't even solve one of the first puzzles in the game, this certainly doesn't bode well for the rest. No wonder I always disliked Myst Laughing Crying or Very sad

I talked about this kind of puzzles with devs and they said shemes are not what it should exactly look like and you should use what you can to get AS close as you can to the end ressult.

Well that one looks fairly easy Smile turn that clock thingy on the right so that it's pipes look up, left and right. then attach that snakey thing directly to it and you'll save a corner piece. Go on and try to save more useless parts until you can build a machine that works in the same way Smile

Maybe I should download and play it Very Happy

Oh I know, I know you pretty much HAVE to improvise.. but look at the screenshot. There simply isn't enough tiles to connect them all.

Tried. didn't work. There simply isn't enough tiles to connect each piece as well as the two inputs and one output.

~edit~

Got it! FFS. Yeah, this definitely isn't going to be the game for my puny brain with it's lack of logic functionality Crying or Very sad

Actually, that one was extremely easy compared to the others;

@KC

You'd love this Razz In all honesty, I predict the puzzles are going to get harder and harder.. but the game itself is extremely interesting and I'm enjoying the story, that's for sure.

I played for two hours, really started enjoying it, then turned it off to go eat and do other stuff. Came back and realised I hadn't actually SAVED before turning it off. Lost all my progress. Uninstalled.

Finished the demo. Enjoyable little puzzle game but I don't know if I'll bother getting the full thing to be honest.
