Waysen boss fight was by far the best, soo much crazy shit on the screen that it feels like your brain is being raped, n a fun way and over the top, by Buddha on psychedelic mushrooms! So good! @_@
Finished it yesterday, last night, and played it again today for the second ending; needed one more S rank, witch I got pretty quick, but ended up playing 8 episodes. Fucking insane!
The only reason i stopped was because it's late and this game is loud as fuck! and I live in an apartment and don't want to piss of my neighbors with the sounds of mountains crushing and Asura's bursts of anger.
9/10 for me, only wish it was longer and had a bit more story about the setting/world! I'm going to have to replay this again in the coming weeks. Hope there's some DLC coming!
Does it get frustrating hard later on like those games tend to?

Not really. Two later bosses can be bit annoying, mostly because the fight system is not the best in this type of games, and in Assura's Wrath the focus seems to on the action QTE sequences than the fight system with at times feels like an afterthough.
But I wouldn't call it hard, unless, maybe, if you play it on Hard. Then I could see the later boss fights getting frustrating.
But overall it's a great experience and the best, most enjoyable, game i played so far this year.
I don't like anime but it looks fun. One more question. Does QTE segments have sequences where You have very fast move Left or right stick from left to right rapidly?
I can stand doing all sorts of button mashing and sticks moves but I can't stand sticks masking

There are a few, but they're not punishing like God of War QTEs. Some will change the action if you miss, but some won't, depends on what's on the action (some will give you more than enough time to engage, if for instance you are climbing a wall and there is no sense of urgency).
For example there is a sequence where you have to doge attacks with directional QTEs, and if you fail it will stop the conversation (in a natural way, it's not some awkward black screen or anything like that, mind you) that was taking place during that moment and the fight starts.
Either way, that sequence was leading to the fight, but if you are good on timing you can enjoy the conversation part before you get to the fight.
Overall I'd say they're harder to miss than to execute; again depends on the difficulty you chose.
I tried this and played two first chapters I think. Is this game anything else than quick time events and mindless button mashing in the arena? If not, I have to say I don't get this games greatness.

yeah, but I wont spoil it. In later chapters there is some new gameplay.
Just completed this "game". I fucking LOVED it. It was really perfect, a 9.9/10 from me.
This is exactly what an interactive movie has to be like. Only flaw is that it isn't finished and will be continued in DLC's, but that is what RGH is for
You'd think there would be repetition after 6 hours of fighting, but somehow I never got tired of him punching people in the face, it was really rewarding.
I really didn't like this addon. I wasn't expecting much, but it was basically just a badly drawn anime episode. In contrast to the main game your button presses didn't do anything, you just had a movie playing in the background and some QTE's on top, I don't think you can even "fail" this episode. Not much to do here, and it didn't add anything to the story.
