Seriously: who the f*ck spends actually money for some newerheardofit Cycling Manager game. IF this is actually good, than your pal, or somebody migth buy it, but if nobody hears from it, because it's unplayed warez-wise, then nobody will buy this POS. |
Actually that "crappy" game was leading the charts for weeks in several European countries... Guess why will there be a Cym 4? Cause the first 3 were profitable.
Otherwise, cym 3 was only relatively unplayed "warez-wise", as no patches were cracked, and the 1.1 patch was an essential bugfix. So the cracked version (1.0) was almost unplayable.

I was just wondering, since I know nothing about the whole protection thing, why CAN'T sf3 be cracked? What's so special about this that it CANNOT be cracked.. I mean, everything can be cracked right?

It CAN be cracked, it HAS been cracked, and it WILL be cracked again. It's not that it's too hard, it's just so time consuming. It's not like these groups get paid for cracking this shit, so who in their right mind would waste away of month of their life to crack the latest installment of Ass Tycoon? I guarantee you that no copy-protection on this planet, be it SF3 or otherwise, would be able to stop the rls of a game like Doom III or HL2.

too lazy? don´t be so sure of that. I´m a student right now and i´m living with guys from all over the world in a student hostel. Before i prepared for a-level i spended nearly one year in northern england (York). Many of my mates are speaking english almost fluently but this is no exception. You can learn francaise, english, italiano, dansk, dutch and other languages at school. I had some french for a few years, latin and english of course. At the university i first took some spanish lessons and improved my italian. (my girlfriend is italian). But there are also many people who have difficulties in learning languages and are more interested in technical matters like physics, math, engineering etc. Personally i don´t think that the germans in common are more lazy regarding the learning of foreign languages than other europeans. It´s simply a matter of individual interests.
In some cases it could also be possible that it´s some kind of rebellion-
hm, you might have to look it this way: most people in Europe speak german and the official language in the Eu is english and french. Every time when a matter of identification rises, you are told to shut your mouth and better deeply look into the shame "obviously" caused not by few madman "but the whole country itself". It´s ridiculous! Concerning history as a german you are obligated to negate your Identity. That is a matter of fact, don´t deny that the post war order of nearly all european countries is based on the liberation from nazi gangsters. The history of our country does offer much more, but facts have it that many are connecting german culture with that fuckin´ era just because Hitler said that everything happened in german history took place to led the country to his point- sick of that -but who like it may keep it this way- I´d advise everyone to spend some time in Germany who don´t want to see that the movement for peace and green life is perhaps even stronger than in the most countries. Unfortunatly capitalism is raping our minds, but there will be investigations to get rid of that problem not by far, i hope so
now let´s better get back to sf3, before an admin chooses to close the thread

well, some germans cracked Codename: Panzers.
And I dont mean the demo exe which lets you play the game but only by loading saved games.
It's an actual full functional crack for a game using one of the newest Starforce 3 protections.
Really impressive. I wonder if they found a backdoor that renders Starforce as useless as all the other copy protections.
Would sure as hell be great.
