mike, Y U No???? read tweakguide?

I'm not too sure that the mouse acceleration toggle has much of an effect, but the FPS limiter mod greatly improved the game without the stupid physics bugs that occur at high framerates when v-sync is off.

Have any of you found any mods that are just a must have since CK has been released?

*Edit*
I wanted to play skyrim yesterday and ended up sitting from about 3pm till about 3am just downloading and updating existing mods on NMM tweaking INI files etc.

Finished the game like that, no problems whatsoever. Best way to take care of input lag indeed.

Confused

The no v-sync glitches happen with the game itself, not with the fps limiter.
Just try and run around some place with some clutter on the ground at ~90 fps and see what happens.

....i'm saying that was my no vsync fix for that issue, cap the fps at 60 with that rather than using vsync due to mouselag =P

Haven't tried it (since I need to reinstall the game; I'll do that only when everything for it will be released I think; I also need some mods to make it feel less cheap, can't play it like this anymore), but this looks really good from what I've seen from a few videos:

It's pretty good indeed, probably the "most realistic" enb available. Not as fancy as the Cinematic one (there's no bloom, no strong pp effects-> you'll love it Very Happy), overall it's definitely close to the original look Smile

Just make sure to disable the DOF because is heavy and ugly Razz

Its nice, but a "bit" too colorful for me.

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

True, it's definitely not balanced, especially when playing at night. I think the culprit is the exaggerated contrast that needs to be toned down. Oh well, it was just a quick test after all Razz

I really love this game, but I must say all the quests and such get overwhelming. I with it broke them down better in to categories, or at least the main quest line. I've got like 33 mods installed (love the steam workshop thing), which certainly overall make it better IMO. The combat is pretty lackluster, but the game is very immersive.

Well it's not particularly hard to edit a config to your liking.. (altho I understand you might be aware since you mention "testing") Haven't tried enb on skyrim, but have some experience from the SA & IV versions. The config file itself has pretty good descriptions, but there are also some function key modifier keys that let you change stuff in game, altho obviously one needs to enable the HUD for that to get the new values since it doesn't write to the file. Might be a different ballgame to some extent nowadays tho, since new versions often bring some great additions(/differences) along. Boris definitely knows his game. This reminded me to check if the DXHR enb has been improved, so thanks for mentioning enb. Very Happy

I'm preferring it to the SkyrimHD as well since it updates an incredible number of textures.

I'm also using these (quite basic) mods on top of the Hi-res pack:

+ SkyUI
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=4862
+Categorized Favorites Menu
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=4862
+ This Enb for the visuals:
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=4142

(There are several interesting mods that I haven't tried yet, such as this one http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=6176 or this one http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=1601 )
