isoextract works fine as well.
anyone with a recommendation what to with my box? played a game fifa saturday against a friend. no gfx glitches, no black screens. later on we played bombermann while getting drunk. after 2 hours or so the screen turned black again for 3-4 seconds. got this also when i moved two meters while it was turned on... maybe only the hdmi cable sucks? this one worked always fine on that tv, but on another one it just doenst connect, only every tenth or twentieth time it works...

Try the component cable, see how it behaves with that one.

You can try this:
http://code.google.com/p/ffplay360/
It's a porting of the FFmpeg libraries & player for the 360, but be warned: it's still an alpha, and from what I've read it's unstable with 1080p streams (SD and 720p seem to work decently tho).
Also: the download in the "download" section is badly outdated, at least from what I see from the sources list, I'd suggest trying to compile a newer version (in fact, I think I'll try to compile the latest version myself, maybe this evening, see if it has gotten better...)

yeah when they release the RGH2.0 hack every fat can be hacked.. butperhaps it can now already be hacked ifyou are not on the latest dash you can hack it now..and I persononaly recommend the cheapest chip you can find.. TX make great products.. but x360glitch chip is much cheaper and work just as good.

It's been a long fun road full of headaches and cheers, and I'm glad you all
joined me on this journey. 2.32 marks the end of my work on this project as
well as bringing fast patch updates for new versions to other projects now that
the expert-tease of 3rd party product providers steps up to provide... well
that remains to be seen, but look to them when the next update rolls out.
Just a little bonus, its not documented elsewhere but was being worked on as
the next feature, and as it stands it is incomplete. fakelive=true, see what
happens when you use a live account to start an app. There, that is my expert-
tease to punctuate the last 2.5 years of work, and I didn't even try to sell
you a damned thing;) |
xecuter at it again with their "fusion".... now enjoy buying another piece of their overpriced hardware to continue with the newer dashboards. unless cOz releases the DL source...

This sucks! Fusion has to be a kernel like any other though. They just want to sell that dual nand thing

damn, i knew RGH becoming more and more commercial will damage the scene in some way. this is a huge blow to JTAG/RGH community as cOz was one of the most important 360 homebrew dev. without his work we wouldn't even be able to play any new games as he defeated so many protections and provided countless workarounds in dashlaunch.

Fusion is just Team Xecuter FSD but then inside the nand,it has nothing to do with the hacked dashboards so far, those are different people besides multiple people can release hacked dashboard so it will continue to be released.
dashlaunch does what it needs to do it launches FSD,they can quit for all I care.. you can not improve something that already does what it needs to do anyway

you are not very well educated on what dashlaunch is, are you? it's so much more than just an app to launch FSD, think of it as a set of crucial system enhancing tools for jtags/rgh. we have to thank cOz's dashlaunch for the:
ability to play AP2.5;
play XGD3 titles;
remove 30 ms ping limit for syslink;
block official MS updates;
launch any xex on boot or game exit;
and many many more.
can you imagine your jtag/rgh console without above features? i certainly can't.

thats something I missed, but those patches are available now anyway isn't hard to put it in new dashboards. xbox scene is no ps3 scene and I don't t hink its going to be like that.

So ME3 is my first multi disc game since I had my RGH, any hints/guide/suggetions on what should I use and how?
Should I use swap.xex plugin for DL or update to the latest FSD2 over internet, with should install the swaping plugin, and stick with that...?
So I'm planing to update my Dashlaunch with the swap.xex plugin. To do that, I need the default.xex and launch.ini, right? I have an archive called "for_xxbuild", are those the files for RGH dashlaunch or the ones in the "Installer" folder?
