Hmm seems you're right, didn't know it was a classic Unreal mod, thought it was just a SP campaign as a re-imagining of Renegade but with the UDK (UE3.x) engine, looks like I was wrong and they're planning a larger MP part next, interesting.

Well those three secretaries from the earlier C&C titles would be interesting romance options. Razz
(But they're probably adding Kane too somehow.)

Anyway didn't they try something a bit different just a few years ago with this series but abandoned it?
(And focused on that last RTS title instead, didn't quite go as planned either, heh.)

Will be interesting to see what Bioware might do with a RTS.
(Renegade with overhead view? hah.)

As a fan of both BioWare games (well Kotor 1&2 and Dragon Age mostly) and C&C (been a fan ever since the first C&C). These last few games has sucked pretty badly. To be honest the last game i bought (red alert 3) i only did so on reflex. I think i installed it once and playing it for 30 minutes before uninstalling it again.

The early games had an engaging story and nice gameplay. The later games was more or less making fun of the story in the earlier games. And mediocre gameplay.

I hope BioWare focus on the story, the engine and so on is not hard to nail. What is going to make it a good game or not is the storyline and the feeling that it brings to the missions. Anyways i respect their work so i'll follow the development of this game for sure.. I miss Westwood Games Sad

when i talked about these last few games sucking i was talking about the C&C games not BioWare.

I think BioWare make good games (well i haven't tried Mass Effect 2 or Swotor should be said).

or they are trying to bring the old C&C 1 Tyberium wars map mode when you could pick 3 missions each impacted on your story line ... same was used in another Westwood game DUNE 2 and its re imagination Dune 3 Aka Dune 2000 or Dune 4 AKA Emperor: Battle for Dune

on a side note too bad that the PC version of Dune 2000 was a 2d crap port when the console version on Playstation was in Full 3d ...

Dune 2000 was not a "2D crap port" Rolling Eyes It was released on the PC originally using the C&C RA engine, then LATER ported to the PS1 using some hideous 3D bullshit Razz

aye thats Dune 4 , the thing that amazed me was the un-linear story line that was presented in this part and those side missions that gave you a upper hand [be a friend to freemen or kill them , steal this or that to have this or attack this space station above dune to destroy his supply line ]
