I would definatley use the 77.30 drivers off the DVD. They have special optimaztions for BF2. |

The crashes must have something to do with punkbuster and online gaming, becaues the demo never crashed and never when playing single player either.

It doesn't matter if you have a dynamic IP. Your ISP has a record of who is using what IP at any specific time.

Haha yeah I can see EA asking the ISP of every single person who has warezed the game for detailed logs of their online activity. All for the sake of revenge on a few people who wanted to play the game early even though half of them will probably buy it anyway.
Maybe they'll even build a time machine to see what IP you'll have in the future in order to stop you from playing their game!

Man it keeps crashing for me.
Installed the videodrivers that come with the game, played on non punkbuster servers, low video settings. Nothing helps.
Meh.

It crashes for me at end of every round! and ive tried the lot! dodgy crack i think. but game is pre ordered anyway.

This was posted by "Jenni" on the BF2 Demo thread. Heres how to unlock all the weapons. It's the same as the demo, just add a bunch of 1's. That was one of the first things I did before I even played the game lol, well that and removing the stupid intro's.
Unlock weapons
*works in single player and lan games, will work online *IF* the server hosting *AND* all the clients have the same hacked python file.
navigate to:
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\python\bf2\stats
Open the file unlocks.py with notepad
find the line:
Code:
defaultUnlocks = [0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0]
change to:
Code:
defaultUnlocks = [1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1]

BF2-RELOADED = NUKED! Bad Crack.
I can confirm it. Why? Cause The game never crashed on me once using the Clone Version.
I removed the image from daemon tools, and decided to use the RELOADED Crack instead, what do you know - The game crashed on me 3 times, sometimes it kicks you to the desktop.
I removed the RELOADED Crack, and went back to using the Clone Image file and I just finished playing without it crashing.
Game does not crash with Clone Version image file, RELOADED's crack crashes the game.

Ladies and gentlemen, this crappy game has been (and is) way overhyped. Less fascinating than the first one, less enthralling, not to mention all the maps look the same.
To run this game smoothly and still have the eye-candy, you need an Uber machine, even more than 1gig of ram and a solid, last generation video card. Needless to say, if you don't have these pre-requisites, this game's visuals suck big time. Oh, and don't even try it on a "just decent" rig. Pac-man would look better.
On top of that, tasty crashes and audio stuttering on some audio cards.
I'm looking forward to see Call of Duty 2 beat the hell out out this overhyped shitbag.

And if the other 2 are shady, then thats a privacy breach and we will all sue EA & PunkBuster, i know my rights.. (yes, i realise the irony of talking about my rights in a warez discussion forum, but.... bleh )
They are not collecting anything, they wont ban anything, do you really think they would go to such lengths to ban 500 people? 300 of them planning on buying the full game? No, thats not corporate thinking, they wont do shit they will just activate the real cdkey check in a while and then everyone will run and buy the game and EA is happy.
Thats how it works with every game.
