Anyone willing to test it at their own risk to see if the saves are being preserved?

In a world where the last good SH game (3) came out years ago, and where AitD and RE have gone down the hill super-fast (starting with AitD 2008 and RE4), I am, criticism aside, very grateful for a game like Alan Wake.

Of course they won't. Rockstar is taking care of MP now.

So if you think im trolling by pointing out stupid mistakes or real reasons and questions then thats fine im not too bothered , but id rather you thought i was trolling by asking or pointing out things than you thought i was a complete knob and thinking this is the best game since noughts and crosses. |
Seems like you're nitpicking a bunch of shit that should be utterly inconsequential to any normal person. But that's just me. I think the game was easily the best survival horror we've had in many years. It's certainly not perfect, but it's close enough when you consider how terrible the "competition" (if you can even call the garbage Capcom and others pass off as survival horror that) is these days.

Inconsequential as in LIGHT is your PRIMARY defence and yet you cant pick up two torches BUT you can carry 2 tons of other stuff ? That type of inconsequential ? if that is inconsequential to a game involving light , well , i give in you obviously havent a clue really.
inconsequential ::: trivial or insignificant ::: game involves light yet you cant carry an additional light giving device but you can carry enough ammo and weapons to fill a large rucksack...
INCONSEQUENTIAL
While im on the subject , in this absolute perfection of a game...... were am i storing the shotgun ? i can understand the pistol and flaregun might fit in a pocket , but the flares , flashbangs , shells , bullets, pages of a novel..whatever else i cant store a second torch so which pocket has the shotgun
Today it is my turn to be AN knobhead
