Anyone tried it? My 560 gtx comes with 2xDVI and 1HDMI. Yet I'm reading that my GPU will only driver 2 screens. So what happens when you plug 3? Does the nvidia control panel lets you choose which one of the 3 to use while having all of them plugged in?
Basically i want to switch the second one off in favor of the 3rd one, then switch the 3rd one off and the second one back on. Is it doable with the nvidia control panel? Without unplugging cables from the back of my computer?

The AMD GPUs let you pick the displays to enable from the control panel when you use non-displayport connections (it detects all three, but only 2 at a time will be enabled).
I imagine Nvidia ones work the same way, so you there shouldn't be an need to actually disconnect/reconnect the screens.

But I don't actually know for sure if this is how Nvidia handles this Smile

Yep exactly what i was asking for; but someone said that none of the 3 monitors would start if they're all plugged in at the same time -.- I guess i need to find a cheap network media player now Sad

HDMI is tied to one of your DVI lanes iif I remember correctly. We can't do it on our AMD's either but we have a display port that we can get an active DP to DVI adapter to allow us to use all 3.
