Does anyone know if there is some way to extract the DLC's that come with SKIDROW's release and put them into the retail game?

AFAIK information about DLCs available for your profile are somehow stored in the EXE files themselves so it may be impossible to do that.

The SKIDROW release had DLC's that are not even out yet. Since the game was worth it, I bought the game and all available DLC's. I'd like to know how SKIDROW got a hold of the DLC's that are not yet available for download Razz

Game runs like crap for me. I can run Skyrim, LA Noire, Batman Arkham City, and Serious Sam 3 on mostly high settings (no AA) but Saints Row 3 has constant sluggishness while driving and generally lackluster framerates even on absolute lowest settings.

I was hoping the patches would be cracked to see if they fixed performance but I doubt that would have worked, anyways. I was so close to buying this, too. Good thing I didn't.

The DLC content was already on the disk, it was just locked out.

I jumped on the THQ store deal, but the game rapes my CPU quite a bit, framerate wise.
It's quite smooth, but sometimes it hovers down to ~30 fps and I just can't deal with that.

Too bad, because from what I've played so far I really liked it. Sad

I've already thoroughly tested it, and even with everything on low my FPS while standing at the entrance of the bridge near your first crib plummet to 35-40fps while the game ends up looking really bad.

Unacceptable! Mad

It updates the game exe and such but it's for - http://store.steampowered.com/app/55381/ / http://www.gamersgate.co.uk/DD-SRTGSDLCP/saints-row-the-third-gangstas-in-space-dlc-pack and not related to normal patching and bug fixing unless they did some small tweaks or such. Smile
(If it did what I think you should have - C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\Common\saints row the third\packfiles\pc\cache - DLC2 files in that folder as Steam developers normally adds content via patches and then you use your account info - when purchased that specific DLC - as a sort of unlock key.)

(Which is why all the pre-order content is unlocked on a pirated copy which removes this check.)

EDIT: Sorting the files by date usually shows what was modified, in this case the patch archives were also updated so something was fixed and it's not just DLC additions.
(This, as usual, also likely screws with a number of mods and thus does will need to update their files to the latest patched versions to work correctly, or for the game itself to work correctly even, in the worst case.)

Maybe time for an upgrade? Game runs silky smooth here 55-60fps maxed out at 1920x1080 and my rig isn't even that amazing, just usual today's stuff (2500k etc).

This game runs like 25-60 FPS on DX9 with an overclocked GTX 570. Is there any tweaks to make it run better? At least a consistent 40-60 FPS, it's all over the place right not, I don't get it.
