I am quite enjoying it after patch (loving the tracks but handling ist too much arcade but plays nicely with keyboard ) Wink - Shittiest NFS is definitely undercover - it was incredibly bad Sad

That's exactly what I was thinking; these kinds of "unlock all!" mods are just ridiculous. What is the point in playing if there's nothing left to play for?

I totally agree here.

The 'let's unlock everything' bullshit (although that was DLCs) was the reason I didn't want to play SKIDROW release of Saints Row: The Third. Almost everything was available from the very beggining and you were able to start so overpowered that there wasn't any sense to play it.

Luckily someone reasonable and talented enough had showed up and modified the EXEs so there were no DLCs and Bonus Unlocks bullshit anymore and playing teh game finally started to make sense for me.

Changelog of latest Nvidia Drivers says something in this regards:

nVidia wrote:
    Battlefield 3

  • Fixes instances of texture corruption/artifacts in Battlefield 3 when memory constrained (typically 1GB or less graphics cards running Ultra settings and high resolutions).

And since latest Need For Shit uses Battlefield 3 engine that might be the case. Smile

I thought it might be the case too but then again, i had 0 issues in bf3 and only in nfs the run. Best part is they still showed up even on lowest gfx settings which used like 400mb vram.

Makes no sense.

I've finally got this to run at a good framerate and pretty lag free (setting Undergrowth to Medium helped a lot)
I also got the patch and the newest unlocker.
Finished the game and most challenges but I just noticed there is still another DLC missing.
Its called "Italian Pack".
New cars and 10 new challenges.
I could not find any release of this, not even on netshow.
Its post game release dlc so it must be some files that need packing and uploading, like the ME3 DLC.
Anyone got this? I've deperately looked for an hour.

I dont know if this even needs cracking, might be its just some car models/track files that get downloaded. The Xbox release has ~100mb.
Someone with a legit version would certainly know.

Just got to this game a few days ago while clearing my backlog, and this is a big game, so it was time to clear it Smile

Let's start with the bad. story mode Reaction

makes fast and furious look like Ingmar Bergman movies. The only thing worse are the cutscenes from the upcoming nfs game Aww Yeah

But the fun part is the challenge mode you unlock after finishing the story joke.

Lots of awesome tracks and 4 medals to go for, with platinums really being challenging on many tracks. Visuals are great even today for the most part, and runs amazing. at 4k with a 970, i'm getting almost constant 100+fps and never below 75 even in the most demanding scenes.

the cars are great, none of those souped up neon colored fast and furious crap. just factory cars and paint changing, just the way I like my NFS games.

Manual shifting is well done, sounds are great, and overall, the amount of events and the variety of tracks in the challenge mode make this a very good NFS game. Pretty satisfied with it. Been playing almost a week now, and still have a dozen events to complete.

IDK what to say about car handling tho.

Speaking of NFS, I started playing HP online with a friend, a game that I really liked.

yeah, the handling is arcadey as hell, but its NFS. i don't recall nfs 3, 4 and porsche having much better handling. maybe porsche a bit more challenging. was a while ago since I last played it.

NFS for me was always beating top times and driving cool factory cars on beautiful tracks.

Compared to the gast and furious type of NFS games, this one is a lot of fun. I expected much worse.

great deal, but i've played so much, i'm nearing the burnout stage. probably gonna uninstall after today.my throttle finger is already bruised, need a m+kb game now Smile

only 4 tracks left to get platinums. the last one where I got silver, seems impossible. i'm 5 seconds away even from the gold, and better cars are locked behind grind or multiplayer features.

I'm guessing those garbled letters are a win10 feature Reaction

yeah not sure if its DSR or win 10 causing that. only happens on these screens, not the main menus nor in game.
